Come visit our oceanfront condo in the Historic Nye Beach District of Newport. Relax in comfort and enjoy the sweeping ocean view and phenomenal sunsets from the living room or balcony of our fully furnished second story condo. Dine in, preparing a sumptuous gourmet meal in our well-equipped kitchen, complete with microwave. Sleeping arrangements include one queen bed in the bedroom and two comfortable futon chair/beds in the living area. Lounge, watching a movie on one of the condo’s two televisions—one in the living room with a VCR/DVD and one in the bedroom with VCR. And for added convenience, our condo comes with two full baths. Located in the arts district of Nye Beach you are just steps away from galleries, great dining, entertainment and shopping. You are only minutes away from Newport's bay front, and the Performing Arts Center and a short drive to the Oregon Coast Aquarium, ranked top 10 in the country, and the Hatfield Marine Science center. Explore the light houses, go fishing, crabbing, or hiking then sample some brew at Rogue Brewery. For play and relaxation, you can use the on-site swimming pool and hot tub! The pool closed during winter months and the Spa is closed December through March and open on weekends only from the last weekend in March until Memorial day weekend.

Please Note: This condo is located on the second floor with NO elevator access. BBQ not allowed on the balcony, ok in the yard below.

About Alema

Li’l Macs is a family name, sort of. I realize that Mac is not an original nickname for those of us with a Scottish last name. My grandfather was known as Mac and had a grocery named Macs Grocery. Later, my Mom & Dad had a soda fountain called Little Mac’s. This is the logo for Little Mac’s Ice-Cream Fountain.

And now I am carrying on the family tradition with our vacation condo Li'l Macs At The Beach.

Alema purchased this condo in 2009
Why Alema chose Newport

Newport is a great place to visit with a variety of things to do. We have visited and lived on other parts of the Oregon coast but find Newport to be the place we want to be. Our oceanfront condo is a corner unit with sweeping views of the ocean and a perfect vantage point for relaxing and watching the sunset. There is a peak at the bridge from the kitchen window.

What makes this condo unique

There are great restaurants and galleries with in walking distance of our condo. The beach is steps away. The short drive to the aquarium and Marine Science Center makes it easy to visit and check out the latest exhibits.

Spring Break at the Beach!

My son and I had a fabulous time at Li'l Macs. The listing accurately reflected the condition and amenities of the condo. It was clean and well maintained and very comfortable. We slept well and played well. I have already recommended this place to my friend who frequently goes to Newport! My only suggestion would be that there be some sort of book that gives directions on how to use the DVD ( I eventually figured it out, but I don't have an updated TV, so I was not sure of what to do) Also it would have been nice to have the password to the WiFi. We spent most of our time outside, so it really wasn't that big of a deal.

On the first night that we were there, we had dinner at Savory. (across the street from the condo) It was a pizza restaurant so that was the draw for my son. When we got there we discovered that they had game boards painted on the tables. We chose the scrabble table and were able to play scrabble while we waited for our yummy pizza. We were also there during the migration of the whales, so we were able to go to several of the sites that made binoculars available and we got to see several whales.

We had a GREAT time and when we come back we will be staying here again!

Our stay at Li'l Macs Beachfront Condo was as described on the website and in very good repair. The unit was in very good condition and the owner did a great job of making sure we were satisfied. The location was perfect, we were able to travel, up and down the coast with ease. Lots of information available at the unit and the owner gave very good directions for finding everything. Would be very comfortable reccommending this owner/unit to friends and family. Fun places close by and info in the unit helped make up good decisions. Enjoyed dining at Georgie's and Nye Beach.

Quiet, beach condo with VIEW

This was our second stay at this condo and it is still convient, easy to use, with the ocean as your back yard. Keeping the expense down, it's not fancy, but has everything you need to eat in or go out, read on the balcony or the beach below, go fishing, wine tasting, or whatever you like. The sunset view can't be improved upon.
Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet get away or taking a small family to the beach.

Very Enjoyable stay at Lil Mac condo

We found this condo perfect for the two of us. A great location, a short walk to restaurants, shopping several very interesting galleries and close to many of Oregon's finest attractions. The condo is a corner unit which offers a feeling of openness. The unit is well equiped with just about anything one might need. The owner has provided quite a bit of information about various attractions the Oregon Coast has to offer. We'll be back on our next trip North!!

Absolutely lovely

Loved the location. Just a block or two from the center of Nye Beach. Easy walking distance to groceries, bay front, and everything else you would need. We took a nice hike to both Yaquina head lighthouse and Yaquina Bay lighthouse. For beach access, there are steep stairs or just go 3-4 blocks in town for easier access.

Loved the view. The window and balcony offered a terrific view both nights of the sunset over the ocean.

Unit was clean, well-maintained and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lil Macs.
