The location of this condo couldn`t be better! You`ll stay right on Main Street, in the heart of everything. Within 1 block you`ll find restaurants, shopping, art galleries, ski rental, DVD rental, and more. Bring your binoculars & see if you can spot your friends on the slopes right from your living room! Short walk to Maggie Pond, Riverwalk, and Quicksilver 6-man lift.

The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the second bedroom has bunk beds (twin on top, full on bottom), and the living room has a pull-out sofa. Cook breakfast for the family in the fully-stocked kitchen. Sit down and enjoy a movie on the DVD player or VCR while you get cozy by the gas log fireplace.

After a day of hard skiing and apres-ski, rest your weary bones in one of Tannhauser`s shared jetted open-air hot tubs.

The bed breakdown is as follows:

Master: queen

Second bedroom: full bottom bunk, twin top bunk

Sofa bed in living room: full

The washer & dryer are shared coin-operated machines elsewhere in the building.

GREAT LOCATION, BUT NOISY AND UNCOMFORTABLE

At the time we booked this place, the photos showed a kitchen with a dining counter for 4 people. We like to rent condos so that we can self-cater alot of our meals. When we arrived, that counter was gone and a little butcher's block was in it's place, along with 4 small bar stools. The height of the butcher's block and the stools are so mismatched it's impossible to sit comfortably for a meal. (We are a below-ave height, small-framed and slim family, I pity anyone who is in any way larger than us.) We ended up spending a lot more $ eating out than we had intended as we could barely get through breakfast. The agent says he will change the photos to reflect reality as soon as he can as this change was made by the owner immediately prior to our stay. The condo is too small to accomodate a dining table/chairs, and the owner would have done better to stick with the kitchen bar it originally had. Technically it might sleep up to 6, but I can't imagine trying to stay there with more than 4.
This condo is on the 2nd floor of a 3 storey building. When people move about upstairs, you can hear everything - footsteps, creaking doors, plumbing, the lot. I don't think they were particularly noisy, I think the building just carries the noise. We had a lot of sleepless nights due to this.
Up close those bunk beds look like a home-made construction. Our kids are teens and could sleep safely enough, but I would not put small children in that top bunk as it doesn't have a proper frame and getting down the ladder would be a challenge for a young child. The space between lower and upper bunk was a bit tight too.
The condo is well located for the main street of Breck - great for restaurants, shopping, skiing etc. so you really don't need your car once you are there. The downside is there was a lot of noise from nearby condos and bars almost every night.
Its location is great for skiing or boarding; you can walk from your front door to the Quicksilver chairlift and ticket office in 5 minutes, ride up peak 9 and from there to anywhere else on the mountain. So, if you can sleep through a tornado, and plan to eat out alot anyway, this is a great condo for snow sports fans. We really did enjoy the skiing and would go back to Breck for that.

LOCATION, COMFORT AND ENJOYMENT!

The condo was very clean, well maintained and well equipped, and the location could not have been more perfect! The description of the condo's location was extremely accurate and access to the lifts, a Starbucks, ski rentals, a multitude of restaurants, a grocery store and a variety of other shops was literally minutes from our front door. We parked our car in the off street parking lot provided for the condo and did not have to use it again until we departed. In addition to all that, the view of Peak 9 and surrounding slopes from the front balcony and front window was absolutely beautiful!
Mark ( the owner ) was very professional, helpful and accomodating and we would not hesitate to recommend this property. We would rate our overall experience as "VERY GOOD" and are already looking forward to our next visit!
