Amazing getaway!

This was by far the best rental the group of us have ever rented! The house was extremely clean and welcoming and the views were breathtaking! There was a feeling of pure comfort and relaxation duriing our stay at 11 Stage Road. I can't say enough wonderful things about the house and family that owns it. My only regret is that we didn't head over with a bottle of wine or Maine Microbrew to enjoy with the owners...maybe next summer!

We will definitely rent from the Worthley's again! Thanks for making our vacation so enjoyable and easy!
Owner's Response: Great guests & great place=great vacation!

Honestly, we feel so fortunate to be able to share this place with the nicest people. Our hope is that we get to meet more folks from away while getting to visit with return guests whenever they can make the trip back.

Thanks for the kind words.

Loved It!

Submitted: August 21, 2012 Stayed: July 2012
My family was so fortunate to find this secluded gem. The gorgeous cove views, peaceful setting, comfortable house, kind and attentive owners and beautiful grounds combined to make our vacation truly special. My three children loved the large deck and grassy hill down to the water. My mother loved the first floor bedroom and spacious living areas, and I loved the master bedroom with views to the cove and ocean beyond! A great house for all generations, will hopefully return again next year!
Owner's Response: We love receiving feedback from our guests. It's great when other people find this special place as nice as we have. We are especially happy when guests enjoy the spot enough to plan a return visit. We think that says a lot about the pretty location and the honest value time spent at the house represents to renters. To all our guests, past, present and future we send along a heartfelt "Thank you!".

Winter Rental

5 of 5
Submitted: July 9, 2012 Stayed: September 2011
My husband and I rented this house from September to June. It is the perfect spot to kayak in the fall and snowshoe in the winter. We loved being able to walk to the center of the village for either breakfast or just a cup of coffee. It is a very relaxing place to live. The views are gorgeous! Great spot to live during the fall, winter and spring!
Owner's Response: Thanks Kit. We appreciate your feedback about our rental and were happy you got to watch the seasons change looking out over Sampson Cove.

We wish you both nothing but the best and hope to see you back here again when your schedules permit!

Vacation home in Cape Porpoise What a view!

Submitted: July 8, 2012 Stayed: June 2012
Our family arrived Saturday afternoon in Maine and even though we had seen the pictures of the home...it was even by far better than we could have ever expected. The home was roomy, plenty of room for all 6 of us (and a baby) and the views of the cove and ocean were spectaculor.....just quiet and so enjoyable. The owners of the home are so gracious and couldn't have made our stay any better! Great deck and pier and going out in the water on the floats was so much fun!! We cooked out numerous times, walked to Nunans to get lobster, and down to the ice cream shoppe and Bradburys....walking distance to shops and restaurants! Great place....can't say enough good things about it! Had family over that lives in Maine and they were just in awe of the place....we felt like we had discovered a true GEM....thanks to my daughter for finding it on line!! Good Job Maile!! We are planning a trip back!! A wonderful vacation.....Donna & Alan McCrory & family
Owner's Response: We are always happy to learn that our rental property met or exceeded the expectations of our guests. One of the best things about renting through the HomeAway site is getting to meet so many nice people from all over. We are especially pleased when guests return year after year to our special spot. We enjoyed having the McCrory family as guests and we hope they'll return next year! Thanks for sharing your experience here.

Best wishes to all,

Robert & Eileen Worthley

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!

This rental exceeded our expectations. The house is beautiful, clean, comfy and has spectacular views of the cove. It is nicely equipped with everything you may need. Our hosts Robert and Eileen couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We took full advantage of being on the water! The artists in the family painted watercolors of the amazing view. A great spot for kayaking and swimming and relaxing too! The areas of Cape Porpoise and Kennebunkport have wonderful restaurants and nightlife as well. We spent a day deep sea fishing --fun-- and caught lots of fish. We highly recommend this beautiful rental. We would love to return!
