Come to where the Sun shines EVERY DAY! Welcome to the jewel of southern AZ and my newly refurbished Casita. Completely furnished, just bring your tennis rackets, golf clubs, bicycles and yourselves. Tennis courts across the street, shopping within walking distance and 6 public/2 private golf courses in Green Valley. Exceptional birding in Madera Canyon, as well as hiking trails for those so inclined. You will also want to take advantage of my membership in the Green Valley Recreation Association which is available to guests for a nominal temporary membership fee. GVR has too many activities and classes to mention here, but all the information is readily accessible, and will be provided to you whan you arrive.
Green Valley Resort Homes surround lovely patio areas, which are enjoyed by all guests, as well as a lovely pool with spa in the complex. The Casita is smoke free, and located just off highway I-19 at the #63 exit and the Continental Shopping Center.
Having lived in Green Valley for the past 20 years, I'm completely sold on the amenities available here including the many recreation centers with pools, as well as the newest one which has an indoor/outdoor salt water pool. The Resort Homes concept is the main reason I chose to purchase this Casita; its' central location to most of Green Valley's assets, makes it very desirable.
Green Valley is a laid back kind of area; mostly casual attire is worn by our locals. There is nothing ostentatious about Green Valley, you'll meet mostly good, helpful, kind and friendly people here.
Warm sunny days and cool nights (good for sleeping) are the norm during the winter months in Green Valley. My Casita has cross ventilation for a refreshing nights' sleep, if you prefer not to use the provided central air conditioning. As stated earlier, the sun shines every day in our community.
Pickle Ball courts at various Recreation centers, for this newly popular sport. It's great fun! (not too strenuous)
Bocce facilities are located at Canoa Hills Recreation Center.
MUST SEE; Tucson Desert Museum(outdoors & indoors)
