Cabin, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 3-4)

Rustic cottage set on a rocky bluff overlooking the peaceful Indian River in Rossie, NY. 45 miles north of Watertown, 35 miles south of Ogdensburg and a short drive to Canada (remember your passport). One bedroom with queen size bed, one full bath, fully equipped eat-in kitchen and a living room with two sofas that convert into queen size futons. Bright, open space with great river views from every window.

Tie up your boat, canoe or kayak to the floating dock. Enjoy fishing right off the dock or in your watercraft. The Indian River and nearby Black Lake are abundant with largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, crappie and perch.

Other activities include hiking, biking, antiquing, sightseeing and rock and mineral collecting. Close to the Thousand Islands. Explore the St. Lawrence River which is home to Boldt and Singer castles, along with Millionaire Row. The well-known Remington Art and Sculpture Museum is minutes away.

About The Owner

My cousins and I were looking for a quiet retreat for family vacations and as a rental property. With the help of brothers, sons and sisters, we turned a very rustic fishing camp into a comfortable retreat. Visitors can listen to the loons, fish from the dock and appreciate the quiet of the woods.
