Our 4 week family (kids 6 and 9) stay was fantastic. The home is located in an ideal beach setting with the boardwalk directly in front which provided endless people watching opportunities. The kids capacity for beach play is limitless which made this home ideal as they would play for hours - right out front, and in our view. The view from all three patios was amazing and included consistent perfect sunsets, surfers, dolphins, sail boats, and Catalina Island. We spent our time on the beach, body surfing, biking (or scootering) the boardwalk, walking, relaxing on patio (or hot tub), and entertaining friends and family that happened to be travelling through the area, and enjoying the restaurants from Newport to Laguna Beach .
The home came equipped with top level finishings throughout. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the quality beds and linens, fully equipped kitchen, billiard room, outdoor firepit, both indoor fireplaces, 4 large flat screens, steam shower, and the very big comfy sectional in the main room. The number one benefit was the main floor patio doors which fully retract bringing the outdoors in. We had a week of unseasonably warm weather (80's) for the time of year, the house was breezy and comfortable. You will find the home has many modern features including lights and blinds on remote control. A lot of thought went into the construction of home and added to this the quality furnishings make it an ideal place to relax on a holiday. Nearby is Disneyland, The Getty, etc, with Legoland and San Diego Zoo a little bit further away. We look forward to returning asap.
