House, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)

This is truly a Mexican Casita with a central Great Room design under a beautiful brick dome ceiling. The home is colorfully appointed with Mexican furniture and decor. The upstairs Master Bedroom has a walk-in shower and a gas fireplace. The second upstairs bedroom has twin beds for children or a possible third couple. The downstairs (3-car garage level) Master Bedroom opens out to the Gated courtyard and has an inside stair access to the upper level. The upper level opens out to the large back yard which is ideal for BBQ or for sand lot volley ball, badmitten, horseshoes, etc.

It is a short 2 minute walk to the waters edge at the beautiful Sea of Cortez. Take the beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, kayaks (3) and rubber raft and enjoy the day relaxing on the beach or playing in the sea water. Back at the house enjoy the upper sun deck, the main level patio deck or the Courtyard area which is ideal for children and pets. Bring a bag of ice from town for blender beverages.

The home has flat screen digital TV with local Sky satellite dish and now offers WiFi so you can stay connected while enjoying down time near the Sea of Cortez!

About Valeria Andrews

As a Surveyor I have always had a passion for land and land rights in various parts of the world, hence property in Mexico. My entire family is bi-lingual English/Spanish and we have 5 dogs and a cat that is respected by all the canines. We have a vacation home in the forest at 7000 feet ABSL and this wonderful Ocean retreat with unobstructed views of the Sea of Cortez.

Why Valeria Andrews chose Puerto Penasco

I chose this location to build my dream home because of the natural beauty of the Sea of Cortez, the clean safe beach, and proximity to my Arizona primary home. Property has historically been affordable in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) and when properly managed, the cost of construction can be reasonable. Crossing the Border, for me, is a natural high knowing the cultural differences and the freedom from the routine.

What makes this house unique

The beach community is special and most of the time there are enough people to enjoy some social contact if you choose but there is also ample opportunity for quiet solice. The beach access is only a short walk downhill (2 - 3 minutes). On most weekends and all Holidays there are Vendors of hats, jewelry, etc. as well as horses, bannana boats, and parasail rides. Sand and shells and sounds of sea birds with ocean breezes and occationally passing dolphins, sea lions or a whale can add excitement to your beach experience.

our only grip was the 4 bottles of water were empty.

Owner's Response: Glad to see you back. As for the water bottles we have found that with the proliferation of OXXO markets all over town it is just a lot more convenient to pick up a gallon jug of water, a bag of ice, and other beverages every couple of days. The 5 gallon jugs hold so much water that it tends to go stale. I'll be sure to tip off our caretaker to see that there is at least a starter gallon in the frige. Thank you for the repeat stay and please come back again!

Great place to stay!

Our group of 6 had a great time in Puerto Penasco, due in large part to this rental house. The house was a nice size for our group and we all felt like we had our own space with the 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We used the kitchen to cook a few meals and the living room was a nice place to hang out. The porch was a great spot to have a morning coffee or watch the ocean in the afternoon. The beach is just a short walk from the house. We had a fun time using the kayaks and boogie boards. Although the house is a little older, for the price, amenities, and location it would be hard to beat in Los Conchas. Since the house is about a 15 minute drive from downtown, it would be best to have a car if you are traveling to Puerto Penasco. I would highly recommend this rental property for anyone traveling to Puerto Penasco!

what a pleasant surprise! The house was great, it was clean, conveniently located to the beach and had all the amenities. Although we did not use them, there were lots to fun beach toys at the house like rafts, kayak, etc.
As a side note, the owners were really helpful which was super.

All in all a great trip we would stay again :)

Wonderful stay in this lovely house!

The house is lovely and is exactly as it is portrayed on this website. The location to the beach is perfect; access is just across the street. The views from the decks are wonderful. We saw dolphins many times from the decks. The use of the kayaks was great. As we were in them, we had dolphins surface just a few feet away from us. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They were very helpful in answering our questions regarding the house, grocery store locations, and restaurant recommendations. We were there over Christmas and the owners put up holiday decorations before our arrival which made the house even more welcoming and festive. It is a great house for dogs as the floor is tile and there is an enclosed courtyard for them to run in the sand. We felt very comfortable in the house. I definitely recommend this house!

Great Location- easy access to the beach

This house has an excellent location in Las Conchas just across from the beach access. Beach chairs and kayaks were provided and made our days on the beach even more enjoyable. The ocean views from the deck were beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and the furnishings are beautiful. This is a great Mexican beach house.
