Wellfeet is artsy, beautiful, down to earth and full of open space.
What makes this house unique
We love living so close to the Wellfleet Library, as well as to town. Our street is very private, and yet because of it's close proximity to Wellfleet Center, we can enjoy galleries, beaches, ponds and stores, all on foot!
Guestbook comments from the owner
We had an amazing time at this house. We were four adults and five children, ages 8-11, and we all slept comfortably, using the foldout bed in the family room. We loved that if felt like a real home, with books on the shelves, every kitchen gadget you could ever want, a TV and DVDs, a tether ball in back. We rode bikes to nearby ponds, and the kids could walk safely into town to get ice cream and candy. Allison was very helpful, without being intrusive (we never saw her during our stay). Yes, the house is a work in progress (not all trim was painted), but it was functional in every way (kitchens and bathrooms are clean and new, with white tile, and chrome hardware. We liked the quirky antiques and the fact that we didn't have to worry if the kids came in with sandy feet. She only asked that we sweep the floors on the final day, and returned all of our deposit. I would rent here again in the heartbeat.
