Breathtaking!

This unit is spacious and by far the best condo that I have ever stayed in! As previous reviewers have expressed the photos does not capture all of the beauty the views. We opened up the unit to the rooftop deck every day to take in the sea breeze and star gaze. Sometimes,we ate out at local restaurants (that were literally steps away from the condo), cooked meals in the full kitchen or barbecued on the deck. Also, we enjoyed the hot tub and listed to the music from the clubs below and enjoyed virgin pina coladas.
We were had expected more people but were a family of 5 ages 8-67 years old and there was something to do on the island that interest each of us. I would like to thank Jane Shattuck and her staff ! Jane made our stay in Barbados truly a home away rom home. The crib sheet she gave us made our navigation through customs, what to pay for taxi fares, car rentals as well as the money exchange rate and touring the city a breeze.
We rented a car from Esses Car Rentals, the owner brought the car to the condo for us and he was extremely polite. We mainly used the car for touring the island which was cheaper than a guided tour. We also attended the Fish Fry at Oistins on Friday a "must" do on the island! The Bajans were eager to offer any assistance or explanations of their culture and things to do on the island. We caught some of the pre-Crop Over performances at Bridgetown that was suggested to us and it was amazing! Ricardo, at the condo was also very helpful in answering questions, attending to our needs in the unit and exchanging money for us.
We would definitely stay at the St. Lawrence Beach Condos again. Thanks again Jane.

This was my first time using Home Away and renting a condo and I was very pleased. Jane and her staff made everything from start to finish very easy and comforting. The space is in the middle of all the night spots on the gap with all restaurants and nightclubs. The pictures of the space does not give it enough justice, it has the most gorgeous view and comfy quality furniture. I go to Barbados every year and never have I seen a view more beautiful. The staff helped us with finding things around to do and gave us the best care. I couldn't imagine a better experience I will be booking this condo again when I come back because I know it would be hard for any other place to live up to this one in my whole 10 years of visiting Barbados.

This was our third trip to Barbados so we were familiar with the Gap and the rest of the island. Overall our experience was excellent as the penthouse was a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful weather and truly relax. We had a total of 4 people in our party so we had plenty of room. The condo was all that I expected and more. The ability to open up all of the sliding glass doors and have essentially an open air living and dining room was amazing. The pool area and the beach were great as well. The pictures of the beach area and the pool do not do justice as the beach area provides more than enough access to the water and the pool area is much larger than it appears. The location is very convienent to the entire island as well. We will definitely be back.
