Not what I wanted

The property itself was in okay shape and the space was larger than expected. However, the owner was not helpful in answering our questions or concerns. Also, certain necessities such as garbage bags and laundry detergent were out of stock during our stay. What a hassle. We cleaned up during our stay and were still charged a large cleaning fee. I would not recommend this property to a friend or relative.
Owner's Response: While we are sorry that the renter was unhappy, the loss of a part of their damage deposit was due to their irresponsible behavior. After several emails and telephone conversations with the group leader,we elected to rent to under 25 year olds. The renters, while attempting to cleanup several large messes, opted to bleach and ruin our new linens, poured bacon grease on our porch, and had a party which our neighbors complained about later. This was the first time that we have felt it necessary to take part of the damage deposit in all the time we have owned our unit. We strive to offer the best possible rental environment for a reasonable price, and we expect those who rent our home to treat it with respect.
