Coconut Grove House Rental Photos and Description
House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)
Our home has been a decorative collaboration between myself and my girlfriend, Rebecca Kyrouac, an interior designer and metal worker who has a successful interior design business here in Miami. Our house sits at the end of a cul-de-sac in the North Grove, 15 minutes from Miami Beach, and just south of downtown Miami on Biscayne Bay. You will rarely see a car here and yet you can walk 5 minutes to the MetroRail or the marinas along Biscayne Bay. This is a special place and our home means a lot to us. Guests under 25 years of age must be accompanied by an older adult. There is one large master bedroom with an outdoor shower and open bathroom, a second smaller bedroom with a guest bathroom and a smaller third bedroom that shares this second bathroom. The house could sleep six but two couples is really ideal. We have a huge screened-in porch that opens into the main living area. Exposed wood beamed ceilings and furniture from all over the world give our house a look and feel that is truly unique. We moved into this home in 2004 and began a dramatic renovation at that time. We have a monitored alarm system, Wi-Fi, Apple TV, and Smart Blu-Ray DVD player. We do not have cable television. A one week minimum stay is required. 3 weeks is about the maximum length of time we can accommodate guests and we only rent our home about 6 weeks a year. A $500 damage/security deposit is necessary in addition to the agreed upon rental fee, which includes all taxes and cleaning. This deposit is returned within one week of departure providing there are no damages.

Licensed Massage Therapist. My girlfriend, Rebecca, is a metal sculptor and interior designer. We have lived in Miami since 2001. Moved here from Boston where we lived for 10 years. I lived in New York City for 13 years, between 1977 and 1990. This is our second Coconut Grove home.
This is one of the nicest, quietest, friendliest neighborhoods in Miami. Full of lush vegetation and good people.
We can walk to the ocean. Our friends have a sailboat moored off of Dinner Key, a ten minute walk from our house. It's a 15 minute drive to Miami Beach. The Grove is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Miami and the convenience of getting around Miami from here is terrific.
