This spacious cottage is situated on an expansive private lot and sandy beach on the south side of Torch Lake. The unobstructed view from the house and deck is down the center of the lake, which boasts a beautiful sandy bottom ideal for swimming and play any time of the day or night. This is one of the most stunning properties on Torch Lake. North-facing location affords beautiful views of sunrises and sunsets over the lake. In the evening, take advantage of the fire pit on the beach to roast marshmallows. Don't miss this piece of heaven. House features comfortable furnishings, modern amenities, high speed wireless internet access, washer and dryer, eat-in bar, and all the comforts of home.

Property Location: This cottage is located 1.5 miles from Torch River and Torch River Marine where you can rent pontoon and speed boats. It is approximately 5 miles south of Alden, which boasts shops, restaurants, and tennis courts. You are just a boat ride away from the Dockside restaurant at Clam River, which is a great place to sit outside, watch the boats go by, and enjoy a nice lunch or dinner. You are a short 20 minute drive from Traverse City, home of the Traverse City Film Festival July 27-August 1, 2010.

Beautiful House: The cottage is comfortable and airy and boasts all of the comforts and convenience of home, including a fully stocked kitchen and a washer and dryer. A large deck is great for el fresco dining and the yard large enough for Croquet and volleyball. A heavy duty mooring anchor 100 feet from shore is perfect for large watercraft.

Notes: The lake out front is ideal for children because it is relatively shallow and boasts a sandy bottom. There are no stairs in the house or leading down to the lake, which is also great for small children as well as the elderly.

Beautiful beach house on Torch Lake!

We had a fantastic time at this cottage. We visited with three 2 year olds and found it to be the perfect fit for a young family. The beach was ideal, shallow water and perfect boating lake! Everything was provided - bedding, towels, linens, beach chairs, etc.
