House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

Come and experience this 1912 Craftsman Style Bungalow located in the Historic Landmark District of Butte, Montana. The homes on the block on which it is located are much like they were when the house was built in 1912.

The exterior of the home is clinker brick and original cedar shingle siding. The front yard wrought iron fence is original with the house. The interior of the house has the original lighting fixtures, hardwood floors, and beautiful beamed living room and dining room ceilings. The dining room features the original paneled walls and built in buffet.

The kitchen cabinets are original with the home, and feature antique Venetian glass.

The two bedrooms are separated by the bathroom; one bedroom has a queen size bed, and the second bedroom has a double or full sized bed. The bathroom features a tiled floor, glassed in shower and all new fixtures.

The backyard is grass with a privacy fence. In the back yard is located a gas grill during the summer season.

The owner does limit the total number of guests to a maximum of four (4) people. No pets are allowed on this property, and we do not rent the property out for parties, nor to groups under 25 years of age.

Why The Owner chose Butte

This home was purchased by my family in 1954; we are only the second family to live in this house since it was built in 1912. Throughout the years, most of the home has been maintained in its original condition.

The property is walking distance to the World Museum of Mining, the Montana Tech Mineral Museum, and the Rails To Trails walking and biking path.

My sister and I stayed here recently and loved it! Wonderful neighborhood and neighbor. The house was very clean, great beds and inviting! We hope to stay here again. Laura Lee was very helpful and accommodating! Hope to be back soon!
