My son and daughter in law and my two granddaughters (2 & 5) stayed here over Easter weekend. The place was perfect for us. The bedroom separated by the living room and kitchen was great when we were putting the kids to bed. Everything you need is there. Location is great-walkable to everything. We had 10 people for Easter dinner and it was a hit. Everyone loved the place. Planning on going back!!
With its two bedrooms separated by a living room and full-service kitchen with all implements one could use, and a washer/drier, the apartment offers outstanding value for money. It was handed over in impeccably clean condition and an employee handled our luggage (IT IS A WALK UP). Loads of towels and sheets, plumbing works fine. Front bedroom even has a view ofthe top of the Empire State Building. Location could not be improved: it is just two blocks from the No. 6 train 33rd street station which is just one stop from Grand Central and three from Union Square. Relations with owner excellent. Check-in, check out a breeze. large supermarket just around the corner, and numerous restaurants in the area, incluing a nice Italian restaurant literally next door. My brother and I have stayed at this aparment four times and plan on doing so as long as it is available during our annual visits to New York.
We would recommend this apt. to anyone. The apt. was huge by NYC standards and it had everything you could need. We could do meals and snacks and it is much better than staying at a hotel. It is our new home for vacationing in NYC. Lucia was so easy to work with, so thanks Lucia, we will be back.
We just returned home from our NYC family vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and were grateful that the eclectic accommodations in the townhouse were better than we expected. The place is huge! plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. Great full size washer and dryer and A/C works great. Bathrooms are very clean and updated and the kitchen has all the necessities. The area around the Apartment is very safe and it's very close to the subway and bus lines. There is a nice Ramada Hotel right next door, so catching a taxi is very easy and there are lots of restaurants, bars grocery stores and deli's all within a short walk.
Lucia is a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive to my calls and questions and everything went off without a hitch.
I would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends or family..........
We stayed here for a week with our 2 teenagers for our first trip to NYC. We were delighted to stay in Manhattan for a reasonable price; very nice having a view of the Empire State Building, too. It was an easy walk to the subway for our many excursions. And coming "home" to such a spacious, comfortable apartment was a real treat. We could all spread out to recharge in our own space. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need, and the outside terrace was a real bonus. If we are lucky enough to visit New York again, we would definitely stay here again.
All the great reviews below are 100% accurate and I can only add to them by saying that Lucia was extremely accommodating, pleasant and responsive. We had to delay our trip due to an illness in the family and Lucia allowed us to work different dates nearly a year later. It was worth the wait. The apartment was perfect for our stay – spacious, well stocked with linens, appliances, utensils, etc. The back deck was a perfect urban oasis. We spent hours back there as well! Convenient to everything we wanted to do. Trattoria Belvedere next door and Vezzo across the street were exceptional places to eat close by. Citibike right around the corner for quick rides around the City, ESB couple blocks from the apartment and visible from the front window, Short walk to Grand Central, Highline Park, East River Bike Path… Thank You so much!!!
