You'll love the feel of this beautiful Stucco home with soaring ceilings and large exposed wooden beams. The interior has a real Montana feel. The walls, finished by local artisans with a special kind of plaster in soft, warm tones, impart a sense of coziness.
The open plan of the living, dining and kitchen areas are great for gathering your group together while the bedrooms offer plenty of privacy. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor, one bedroom on the second floor. The loft which can be used for a child's play area, reading, watching TV is equipped with 3 small sleeper chairs. The Rennells House is most comfortable with a maximum of 6 or 7 adults in the group of 10.
This home is fully furnished and available all year.
This property is terrific and Angie (the owner) is even more so.
We stayed for a month and are returning next year -
The home is even more beautiful than the photos, so well equipped and spotless. Any problems that came up were minor and solved by Angie immediately. Highly recommended -
The house: Clean, roomy, very well equipped with a covered porch and deck and a great view.
Location: We are familiar with the area and it was just what we wanted - in a well kept neighborhood three miles from the center of town.
The owner: Angie was very easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions.
This was our first VRBO and hoped it would be what we expected - it was better than expected. We will probably come back to the same area and will stay here again for sure.
Angie, your home was everything anyone could want. We had 7 adults stay there for the Fly Fishing Fair and it was so easy. The location is just far enough out of town to be isolated but near enough to run into for groceries and dining. Some of us love to cook and the kitchen contains more than enough tools to get the job done. We have all tagged the place in our memories to come back to in the future. As I said to you in an earlier e-mail, I hate to write such a nice review because if you get too popular, we might not get a reservation! Michael
I just stayed at the Rennells house this past week with a group of 10 girls (age 15-27). It was an awesome stay and the house was very accommodating! The kitchen has every thing you could want (even a Quesadilla maker!) and we cooked food every night for supper. There is a nice fire pit outside and roasting sticks that we used to roast franks one night. You also have your choice of charcoal or gas grill...we only used the gas and it worked perfect. There is plenty of space in the yard...we had a good couple games of football and ultimate Frisbee. There was plenty of towels and also a washer and dryer which we made use of every day. Angie was very easy to work with, on the ball with communication and sent us information on local attractions and restaurants. It was a wonderful vacation spot and I would definitely go back to this house in the future. Thanks for a very good week Angie!
From start to finish we enjoyed this location and house so much. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary and could not have done it any better. The house was clean when we arrived and there was nothing that we needed. Everything was furnished. I would recommend this house to anyone that needs to stay in a nice place and location that is so easy to get to any other location in Montana. We hope to come back some day with our grand children.
My family and I - six adults, three small children, and two dogs - stayed at the Rennells House for ten nights. The house was completely prepared for our arrival. The kitchen was spotless and had everything we needed to prepare and enjoy meals. We hired a local chef one night, who had no problem cooking several courses of ribs, salmon, and huckleberry cheesecake. The bathrooms were also clean and had plenty of towels and toiletries for us. The backyard, lovely horseshoe pit included, was completely fenced for the dogs to roam. There was even a kiddie pool filled and waiting for the children outside when we arrived. Beds were very comfortable, even for my pregnant wife.
The location was excellent for those wanting quick access to downtown Livingston's fun farmers' market, main street shopping, and refined dining. Neighbors were friendly and the views of the surrounding mountains were as advertised. Yellowstone National Park is only a leisurely hour or so drive away and numerous, national forest trails are even closer.
The owner was incredibly warm, accommodating, and quick to respond to all questions and requests.
