Apple Canyon Lake is a private 440 acre, deep lake with possibly the best fishing in

Illinois. Rent a pontoon boat at the marina and catch your own dinner.

The spacious floor plan and deck provides a place to relax and BBQ with family and friends while enjoying

the beautiful view of Apple Canyon Lake.

The resort provides a great setting for many other outdoor activities, including hiking,

biking, swimming, volleyball and tennis.

Golf the challenging 9 hole public course while enjoying the lake views and hilly terrain.

Nearby Galena offers some of the finest shopping and restaurants in the area. Nearby

Chestnut Mountain Ski Resort is a great way to spend the day. Dubuque is famous for

their casinos, River Museum and more fine dining. Apple Canyon State Park is just 5

minutes away.

We are just 2 1/2 hours West of Chicago and only one hour South of Madison.

enjoy boating and entertaining. We love the sunsets, the 13 mile nature trail around the

lake and the Apple Canyon State Park nearby.

Owners Profile:: We moved from Chicago's Western suburbs 33 years ago. We have been building and

selling vacation homes in the county since 1979. We built this unit to enjoy with our

family and friends. Deb is an architect specializing in single family residential homes.

Fabulous home for a weekend getaway with family/friends

The house was beautiful, clean, and tons of space for friends/family with kids. Owner is very accomodating and went out of his way to make sure we had the perfect weekend. Beautiful view of the lake and close to the marina and cove restaurant. A 30 min drive to Galena and Chestnut Mtn which makes it perfect for any season.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children
