Our holiday apartment (or 'zimmer', in Hebrew), is located in a beautiful villa located on the cliffs of Zichron Yaacov (sometimes spelled Zichron Yaakov, Zichron Ya'acov, Zichron Ya'aqov, Zichron Yaaqov). Sit on your private porch with rocking chairs and enjoy the amazing, “postcard-perfect”, open view of the sun setting on the Mediterranean Sea. The porch leads to a private garden filled with rose bushes and herbs and shaded by olive trees.
The apartment offers a great deal of flexibility - larger families or groups (4-6 people) can rent the entire apartment - a complete studio apartment and an additional bedroom. Couples, or families with small children can rent just the spacious (40 sq. meter or 430 sq. foot) studio apartment.
Zichron Yaacov is a charming town located an hour's drive north of Tel Aviv and a half hour's drive south of Haifa. The town is full of history, wineries, shops, galleries and restaurants. Our apartment is a comfortable 10-15 minute walk to the center of town. We have plenty of on-street parking directly in front of the apartment.

We (my husband, 3 kids and I) are originally from the USA (Michigan and Maryland). After moving to Israel in 1995, we lived in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv - and both cities are unique and unforgettable. After that we were ready for the peace and tranquility of living in Zichron Yaacov. The sea views and mountain air are a delight. The people are friendly. It is a great place to visit, and terrific place to live!
Mike and I both come from large families. When we moved to Zichron Yaacov, we were eager to host family reunions. Having a holiday apartment available for visiting family and friends made perfect sense to us, and now we are happy to rent this great apartment to new friends (and friends of friends)!
Our apartment is one-of-a-kind. It is even furnished with my mother's beloved piano. We try to give our guests the holiday they are looking for -- we have had couples on their honeymoon, families on vacation, writers working on books, artists looking for inspiration, rabbis, ministers, overseas families celebrating bar/bat mitzvahs in Israel, and a small yoga retreat - and that is just a partial list! We try to make our guests comfortable, especially if they are visiting from overseas and need help with Hebrew, directions or have questions about Zichron Yaacov or Israel in general.
