I would say that this house had all the comforts of home, but it is so much nicer! The owners have put a lot of care and attention into every detail about this property. The beautiful home is equipped with absolutely everything you could need, and in a very thoughtful way.
My family of three luxuriated in the extra room. We enjoyed the living room and soaking tub with views of the bay; chef's kitchen; excellent comfy beds; private deck; and gorgeous gardens. We felt completely private, yet the owners were steps away when we had questions. The chickens, cat and koi pond in the backyard provide additional entertainment. The flat is very convenient to restaurants, shops and parks, and also is well located for accessing points north and south of town. (The home is on a hillside and involves a fair amount of stairs. Everything about it outweighs this, but should be noted if stairs are difficult.)
Highlights of the area for us included Mt. Baker (Artist Point), Whatcom Park, PNW trail, and the WWU campus.
We are looking forward to the next opportunity we will have to stay in this beautiful home. Thank you so much for providing such a great property and warm hospitality!
