Spectacular Corner Unit - Direct Waterfront Condo in Crisfield, Md

Brought my two adult daughters and one 21 month old granddaughter to the condo for a weekend getaway. Arrangements were made via internet and phone on short notice -- everything went smoothly and all information was forwarded to me in a timely fashion. The condo was beautiful and as described on VRBO. Especially liked that the beds were high and super comfortable. My granddaughter had fun "swimming" in the bathroom "pool". The front door of the condo was beveled glass -- and the living/dining room/kitchen was bright with windows all around as it is a corner unit. Although we were not able to utilize the deck and/or screened-in porch due to the 30 degree temps with significantly lower wind chills, I can imagine that sitting out there watching the boats and wildlife during the spring/summer/fall months would be very relaxing. Unit was tastefully furnished with plush comforters in the bedrooms. We drove around Crisfield proper and spotted peacocks roaming around in the small shopping district, drove to the outer Crisfield area to observe the marshlands and ate a delicious dinner at the Waterman's Inn. There is a FoodLion in Crisfield as well as a McDonalds -- and a Walmart in Pocomoke City which is about a 20-25 minute ride away. We also took a drive up to Ocean City -- approximately 1 hour away -- and did some outlet shopping there. All in all, the "girls" had a great time. We will try to plan another trip during the summer so we can enjoy the boat trips to Tangier and/or Smith Island. Many years ago took a mailboat trip out to one of the islands -- we actually sat on top of a piano that was being delivered out there! What an experience that was! -- if the mailboat is available, try that one first. You won't regret it! Would definitely recommend this condo to anyone that wanted to get away from it all, relax and just enjoy being with nature while treating yourself to plush accomodations.
