The unit was clean but a bit underfurnished. It would have been nice to have had two towels per person and couple of extra rolls of toilet tissue. I mean we did pay a two thousand dollars for a week. We called to have a few minor things repaired (garbage disposal, and bathroom vent fan) and the repairs were done. The filter for the ice maker should have been replaced and the remote in the master bedroom would not change the tv channels as well but we did not report that. We did like the location of the property and the amenities were as described. The adults especially liked the heated pool since the weather was a bit cool during our stay. The best thing we liked was that each bedroom had a view of the beach and the layout of the condo was great. I expected a bit more for the price but we did have a good time.
Owner's Response: In our rental agreement we list the supplies and paper products included with the rental. We stock the unit with at least one full roll of toilet paper for each bathroom and at least one full roll of paper towels in the kitchen. We include this information in our rental agreement to inform our guests before they arrive that they will likely have to purchase additional paper products if they plan to stay for a full week. Our policy regarding bath towels is to supply each property with one towel for each person the property sleeps plus an additional two. There is a washer and dryer in the unit and we provide one Tide pod for each day of the stay so that our guests can wash towels as desired. We appreciate that this guest acknowledged our timely repair of the garbage disposal and bath fan. We try to respond as quickly as possible to maintenance issues. The TV remote related to the cable box sensor and could have been quickly resolved during their stay had we known about it. Splash Resort is a little more expensive than some other condominiums in the area primarily due to the water amenities. The resort caters to families with children and for those guests who appreciate and take advantage of the amenities, the extra cost is money well spent.
