Welcome to your family-friendly getaway at one of Emerald Isle's jewels - The Point! Just steps from beach access, enjoy views on three sides of the ocean, inlet and sound from the furnished decks or the rooftop viewing platform. Relax in the newly updated living room, prepare a meal in the fully furnished kitchen (or enjoy any of the many restaurants nearby), and sleep soundly in any of the four well appointed bedrooms. Laundry facilities with refrigerator located on lower level.

Home is located on a cul-de-sac street, so bring the kid's bikes! For the fishermen, you are only steps from some of the best surf fishing on the island. Shopping, restaurants and recreational activities abound nearby.

Newly renovated and redecorated (2009 & 2012). Three cable TV's, one TV with VCR, stereo and Wi-Fi access help you to feel at home. Four bedrooms allow up to 10 to sleep comfortably (K,K, 2 Twin Bunks w/addl twin in each room). Includes gas grill and outdoor shower on the lower level. Enclosed storage for bikes and beach gear - and room to park your boat.

Our family truely enjoyed staying at Traigh Pointe. We had 8 adults, 2 children and a dog. Plenty of room for everyone. We definitely would stay here again.

We loved Traigh Point! The house was spacious and clean, and the kitchen well-stocked! The beach access was only two houses away! The beds were comfortable, although a little soft. We usually like to have screened porches, but the deck was spacious and the mosquitoes were few. We will definitely return - this is among the nicest beach cottages we have ever had, and we have been going to the Outer Banks (both northern and southern) for 19 years. I would highly recommend this cottage.

My husband & I just stayed at this great cottage. We were able to bring our 2 dogs. This cottage is clean, well equipped and the floor plan works great for our lifestyle. The wrap around porch with gates are perfect for our dogs to relax and watch people walk by. Easy beach access. Beautiful views of the ocean and sound. We're already making plans to stay for next year.

We stayed at Traigh Pointe for our family vacation. We loved it! The home was comfortable and pleasant. The beds were really comfortable! My kids loved the bunk beds as well. The house is just a tiny walk from the beach and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the viewing roof deck. We stayed only a week, but I wished we had rented it for 2 weeks. We would love to come back again. Oh, and we brought our little min-pin on vacation with us. He loved the wrap around porch!

PERFECT LOCATION!

We spent two weeks at Traigh Pointe and didn't want to leave. The house is right across the street from the beach and the sound. So you have your choice of body surfing or just a ripple in the water. Week one it was just my husband and I and we took full advantage of tranquil walks on the beach and romantic sunsets in the evening made even more impressive when viewed from the spacious rooftop deck. Week two we had family visit, and the two small boys couldn't get enough of the beach. Great spot for a family vacation, romantic getaway, and sports enthusiasts. There is a nice bike path, as well as bike, surfboard and kayak rental locations near by. Would highly recommend.
