This is not some tired old Waikiki hotel room with a sliver of an ocean view and smelly carpets.

Located AT THE TOP of the Diamond Head Beach Hotel, this penthouse studio has panoramic views of Diamond Head to the east and Waikiki to the west, including ocean, mountain and park views. Some guests have likened it to a crows nest due to the outstanding views.

Stylish and tastefully renovated -- with Travertine floors, Cherry Wood cabinets, African Ivory Granite counter tops, white Island Shutters, white Leather chairs, indigenous Koa wood furnishings, Kohler bath products, 52" HD TV, Digital Cable, HBO, FREE Password Protected Secure High Speed Wi-Fi, and a Memory Foam King bed with Egyptian cotton sheets help to make your stay comfortable, tranquil and rejuvenating. All you need to do is open the windows and take it in!

There is no real need for a car -- as you won't want to leave this highly desirable Gold Coast neighborhood with everything you need within walking distance. The Bus stops out front and we have UBER, Lyft and Biki as well. There is a laundry room in the basement / garage, and there are several car parking stalls for rent--if you must.

The BEST reasons for selecting my Impeccable Penthouse -- AWESOME OCEAN VIEWS, QUALITY OF LIFE, and LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! All within 15 minutes walking distance of Waikiki, but far enough away from the excitement and buzz (cars & music) that you can sleep with the windows open and let the pacific ocean ebb and flow lull you to sleep.

Amazing stay
Beautiful, well kept building with great amenities on the property and within walking distance. Amazing views from the unit. The unit was comfortable and well appointed. The host was very helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

This is a small unit, but it is thoughtfully designed and beautifully finished. Gorgeous location. Jan was a fantastic host: very responsive to the few minor bumps at check in. We loved every day here. (PS aside from the obvious beauty, the mattress is excellent!)

Wonderful Penthouse
This is a great property with wonderful views of kapiolani park and the ocean. Jan the owner takes pride in this condo and it was clean and neat and the king bed was very comfortable. Jan was very clear with all of her instructions and entry into the unit was easy. She also checked in to ensure we were settled and comfortable. All of the reviews of this unit are accurate and it is a great spot for a couple to stay while in Diamond head. I highly recommend a stay at this property. Thanks Jan for everything!

Could not recommend this gem of a location enough!! The views and area are spectacular. Perfect for 1-2 people. Jan is incredibly helpful and communicative. Overall, the perfect place for my fiancé and I to use as a home base while visiting Oahu!

Not everyone will appreciate its quiet neighborhood feel. Why they chose this property

There is no place on earth nicer than the Oahu Gold Coast with the Pacific Ocean, Kapiolani Park and Diamond Head Crater all at your doorstep. This is a neighborhood with a real community feel. People use the park for family picnics and daily exercise like Tai Chi and Yoga, along with soccer and tennis, etc. There are only three hotels in this area. About half of the units at the Diamond Head Beach Hotel are second homes to mainland owners, which are rarely occupied. This contributes significantly to the quiet neighborhood feel.

The weather is generally 80 degrees, the ocean is clear and inviting, the trade winds gently blow, and the local cultural & ethnic diversity is enviable. Where else can you have all of that and still be in the safety of the United States with immense military presence?

Plus Kahala Mall is very near by and has everything one needs in life (Whole Foods, California Pizza Kitchen, Apple Store, Macy's and the Movie Theaters). No need to be stuck in traffic.

Leave your cares and car at home. Take the elevator to the ocean and enjoy a soft salt-water dip in a calm clear blue Pacific ocean. Renew your commitment to health with a walk around Kapiolani Park. Or hike to the top of Diamond Head Crater for a breath taking view of Waikiki and Honolulu. Relax in the shade of our palm trees with gentle trades and the mesmerizing ebb and flow of the ocean (see my video). Walk to the Waikiki Aquarium, the Honolulu Zoo or the new International Market Place in Waikiki. Savor the flavors of excellent food and fine dining in our ocean front neighborhood restaurants.

And in my guests' words this unit is "squeaky clean, stylishly decorated, thoughtfully and efficiently laid out."
