Cuddle Shack. . . Ideal cabin for your Gatlinburg honeymoon in Tn or just a romantic Gatlinburg mountain getaway that you will want to return to time and time again.

Our cabins mountain style includes a living area with cathedral ceilings, exposed beams and is practically surrounded with floor to ceiling windows that enjoy spectacular views of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park including long range views and city lights at night. You can also see the tram from Ober Gatlinburg as it passes below our cabins mountain location. Enjoy comfortable and stylish cabin decor, a wood burning fireplace (in season), pool table and a hot tub on the deck. As our guest, you also have access to the club house with swimming pools and tennis courts (in season). The pool is typically open from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend.

The South Baden Club House is the nearest one to Cuddle Shack (about 1 mile). You will pass it as you drive in on South Baden Dr.

The oversized master suite is perfect for your Gatlinburg honeymoon or romantic Gatlinburg mountain getaway boasting over 600 sq. ft of luxurious comfort, style and amenities. Enjoy a relaxing, romantic bath in the private heart shaped whirlpool with views of the Smokies and a private balcony and then. . . . fall asleep watching the twinkling of the night lights, stars and the moon.

Our cabins beautiful mountain setting is so private and yet minutes to Gatlinburg downtown shopping and many fine restaurants. The property boarders the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, you can even walk down to Cove Mountain Trail and enjoy a hike. We parked at the trail head of Laurel Falls once and hiked in to our Cabin, or you can head on down the trail and it comes out at the Sugarlands Visitor Center.

Black Bear, White Tail Deer, Wild Turkey and Raccoon frequently visit our cabin.

Cuddle Shack is located in Chalet Village, just minutes to Gatlinburg downtown dining or shopping, the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Lodge or the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. . About 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. About 1 hour to McGee Tyson Airport in Knoxville.

**Bent Creek on Hwy 321 is an 18 hole championship mountain course set against the Smoky Mountains.

**Eagles Landing in Sevierville which is an 18 hole championship course with breathtaking views of the Smokies!.

Ski: Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort is about 1 1/2 miles from the cabin. Enjoy skiing, ice skating, snow boarding, bobsledding and a live bear habitat. Nice restaurant and lounge too

Wonderful location, wonderful owners!

This cabin has an absolutely magnificent view! We got to see smoke/fog rise up in the morning, amazing mountain views, and beautiful city lights at night. The cabin was clean, and a small problem with the hot tub was fixed immediately upon notice. The owner spent time on the phone with me during the time I was searching for a cabin, to let me know which cabin would fit our requests. My stay could not have been better. The bed was soft, which I loved, but my husband prefers a firmer bed, so just a note there...The cabin was clean, with I think 6 towels. The washer and dryer were there for us to use. We brought coffee filters and salt and pepper, but it was there already! many cabins do not have these little items. :) My husband took me to The Alamo in Gatlinburg and we had a private room dinner! such a nice surprise. There were plenty of dishes, glasses, oh, and WIFI!!! LOVED THAT!

Great views, great location, and just a really relaxing place.

First of all, being a last minute trip, the owner was quick to respond and I was able to book online the morning of my arrival. The booking process was straight forward, easy and the owner was friendly and helpful. Upon arrival to the Cuddle Shack we found it to be warm cozy and the views were awesome. The location is fantastic, once you drive down the mountain out of the neighborhood, you have instant access to the National Park or all the shops and attractions in Gatlinburg. We had an amazing stay spending our days hiking and seeing the sites in the Great Smoky Mountains and relaxing in the hot tub and indoor jacuzzi tub.
One Tip For Renters: If you turn around at the top of the driveway at the gravel pad and back down, it is much easier to get back up and way easier than turning around at the end of the driveway to drive up forward.

Great location, a little understocked

Caddle Shack is a nice little house ideal for a couple looking for absolute privacy. The view from the windows and decks is fantastic.

In the con department (and this is more for the management attention) - it is a bit underequipped. Blow dryer is missing, deck furniture is old, saggy and partially broken, no lounges on the deck. Hot tub is noisy, would be great if it could be programmed not to clean itself during night time.

GPS users - do not follow its instructions after it brings you to St. Moritz. Instead, just go uphill to the very end of it until you see the sign on the left. Make a sharp left and go straight, up and down the hill to the house.
Owner's Response: Thank you for submitting your reveiw about Cuddle Shack. The deck furniture on the lower deck is older furniture. Thank you for letting me know about the wear and tear I will look into getting that replaced right away! There is new furniture on the upper deck where the hot tub is, 2 nice wicker chairs as well as a wicker love seat with cushions and a wicker table that was purchased just this past year. We do not supply blow dryers. The hot tub is designed to cycle periodically, it's the heater that kicks on to keep the water at the set temperature. It will cyle about every 30 minutes. Cuddle Shack is located at a dead end street, it boarders the National Park and has magnificent views! If you follow the directions that we include in the access information you should not have any trouble at all locating the cabin. If you follow navigation it will get you close then confuse you.... however we do have a directional sign on St. Moritz that points you in the right direction of the cabin just in case.... Thanks again, we are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and hope that you will visit again!

Even better than expected!

Pictures don't do this place justice. This home is absolutely gorgeous inside and tremendous views from the two balconies. Suggest you arrive in daylight, as the drive up gets very steep and would be hard to find in the dark. Absolutely loved our stay here.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
