This ageless Victorian home is located at York Beach, very close to the beach area. Its uniqueness is in the design of old New England 1870. The house has four bays of windows to enjoy the salty ocean breezes. It faces south and the flowers throughout the property grow magnificently. It has a distinct look of 'gingerbread' trim, a center staircase, and a privacy hedge of Canadian Hemlocks that gives shade on a hot day to the patio in the rear of the property. The enchanted Victorian oasis of tranquility is set in a seaside village.
Come see the Nubble Lighthouse located in York. You are drawn to its majestic view. It is photographed closed to a million times a year. There is always something to do for people of all ages.
Please Note: There is a 7% Maine Sales Tax in addition to weekly cost.

I chose to move to York as I am very interested in antiques, historical homes, walking the beaches (Short Sands & Long Beach), and a small friendly community that was different from where I lived in the city.
I love to garden so I spend much time in the yard. I enjoy talking to many people as they stroll on a summer day on their way to the post office to mail postcards to friends/relatives. We chat about the flowers, weather, dogs, etc. Life in York has slowed me down so I can 'smell the roses'!
