My daughter and I came to Phoenix for her medical treatment and made this our home. We found it to be beautiful and healing. The quiet area and beautiful backyard had an abundance of nature that welcomed us each time. It truly was a little peace of heaven!
I would concur with the previous review regarding the state of the home. It's a beautiful house with lots of open space and lovely patio and pool area. But there are a number of broken blinds, dirty carpet with a lot of stains, and the biggest issue of all is the pool heater. The entire reason we rented this home was for the outdoor space -- so the issues we had were such a disappointment. We also tried multiple times to no avail to contact the owner for assistance in running the pool. After repeated attempts we finally contacted the pool place directly (found a business card in a drawer) and they came out and got things running for us. Not that it was much help -- the pool heater sounded like it was going to explode about every 2-3 minutes and most definitely needs to be replaced. Responsiveness of the owner was definitely lacking, but we tried our best to work around everything, not wanting to waste our trip. The location is nice, quiet neighborhood, etc. There's a park within walking distance, but for everything else you will need to drive.
This property is in a nice area but overall, we found the house itself in need of much more TLC than it gets. We are regular Scottsdale vacation home renters and this one just had lots of things that needed fixing… from the drawer in fridge and kitchen cabinet, to blind in family room, to carpets that need to be replaced. But the single biggest problem for us was a pool heater that never worked during our week-long stay, despite repeated notifications to the owner. When the patio/pool is the reason you rent a vacation home in ‘Sun Country’, this was a big disappointment, especially given the luxury pricepoint of the home. Won’t be renting here again.
