This cozy yet spacious Log Cabin is located right in the town of Winter Park. It sits on the mountain side, and there is a ski shuttle pickup stop right at the end of the driveway.

The cabin is fully furnished and feels cozy and inviting. The wood logs are all original and it's very cool and campy but has modern conveniences including free WIFI, cable TV/DVD,VCR, a private outdoor hot tub, gas fireplace, washer and dryer, dishwasher, all kitchen cooking accessories, linens, everything.

The main floor/living room area is open and spacious. Great for playing board games in front of the fire, watching movies, hanging out and reading. The bedrooms are upstairs and include a Master bedroom with queen bed, and a guest/kids room with wood bunk bed plus a double bed.

There is a sunny game room downstairs with a ping pong table (paddles and balls included), and this room leads to the outdoor porch which includes a gas barbecue and well maintained outdoor hot tub and the porch is surrounded by a 6 foot privacy fence. Wonderful view of the night sky from the hot tub. Very relaxing, quiet, private and comfy and available year-round. We installed a deck on the back which now offers a great space to relax surrounded by aspen trees. This property is professionally managed/maintained and is very clean and well kept!!

Bear Claw Cabin is conveniently located in the Town of Winter Park on the ski mountain side. This cabin is a 2 minute drive into town/10 minute walk, and 5 minute walk to Wolf Park (playground, tennis courts, bbq's/gazeebo). The cabin is on a 1/2 acre lot and has a beautiful deck in back with private views of aspen trees and the mountain. It has a 6 foot privacy fence around the hottub. This cabin is very conveniently located close to town yet is a quiet, private home.

Other Activities: The rec center is just down the hill. (Swimming, fitness center, yoga classes, water slide etc.)

Wolf Park is a 5 minute walk away. (Tennis courts, basketball courts, children's playground, picnic area/gazeebo).

There is fishing along the fraser river. Contact Mo Henry outfitters in the town of Winter Park for all details!

There is ample hiking in the area. There is fantastic mountain biking throughout winter park.

Golf: There is golf in the area but I'm not sure on details. Please consult the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce for additional information on golfing in Winter Park!

Ski: Bear Claw Cabin has a ski shuttle stop right at the end of the driveway! The shuttle runs all day and will take you/your loved ones to and from the slopes so you don't have to drive anywhere.

We enjoyed the cabin! Beautifully kept! We parked the car and rode to the Winter Park/Fraser Valley mountain bike trails from the cabin. Made food in the kitchen. Hot tub was wonderful after a long day of riding. Deck was awesome too! We will be back!

a great real colorado log cabin with modern conviences as private as though it was secluded in the woods. played golf at the beautiful pole creek course and fished in the nearby cololrado river.hope to go there again next year. frank and guest

Very cozy cabin!

We had a great time during our first visit to Winter Park and truly enjoyed this cozy cabin. Great amenities with the TV, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer. Our family enjoyed many hours of fun at the ping pong table and the hot tub provided the perfect finish after hiking during the day. The only thing that could be improved would be the cable service for the TV. Very few stations would actually tune into the TV. However, that is where the ping pong table saved the day! Thank you for providing a very nice property to stay at. Much appreciated and highly recommend it to others.

Simple and satisfying

On my trip to Bear Claw cabin unfortunately Winter Park had very low amount of snowfall. The cabin itself though was very nice and well maintained. Kitchen was simple and small with up to date appliances. The bathroom even though there is only one, it is very spacious and nice. It would have been nice for at least a half restroom, but we managed fine. My favorite things about the cabin was its cabin feel and the hot tub outside with a view but still private thanks to the fence. Its hard to find a cheap cabin with both of those features believe me I spent a long time searching all over Colorado and there are not many under 300 a night. The cabin provided many things to do in Winter Park and was very conveniently located with a bus stop right outside and even a nice little walk to the town. We didn't see much wild life, but im sure a lot of that was to do with the strange weather patterns going on this year. If I go back to winter park Colorado, this house will definitely be on my list of possible places to stay. The renters where very helpful and very nice.

Very nice, quiet cabin~ Stay was very nice and relaxing. We will be back again!
The only thing that was objectionable...no window coverings at all in the cabin..the bathroom that looks out to the road is one that really would be nice to have coverings added. Other than that...it was a great stay away from home.
