Spring dates open 1 bedroom near Old Town, golf, shopping,dining

My husband & I do not require fancy/schmancy accommodations. This comfy and cozy condo was great for us and the perfect size for a couple. The kitchen is adequately stocked with dishes, cookware and bakeware and a few basic condiments. There were towels, sheets and extras available although we did not need to use more than what was put out. We stayed here 5 nights and our agenda was packed with activites so did not get to use the pool or hot tub. I did checked them out and they appeared to be clean and well maintained. A hike up nearby Camelback Mountain was well worth the time and work out. Restaurants abound within a short driving distance as well as old town Scottsdale. We took a day trip to Sedona to do some more hiking and I left updated informational pamphlets on the area in the condo. The owner sent friendly e-mails answering my questions before we arranged to rent the property as this was our first time going the route of using this type of rental. This condo is on the 2nd floor so those who have trouble with stairs might find this a disadvantage. It was only that to me after I'd done all that hiking and my knees and legs were complaining. The parking spot for this condo is not directly in front of the building, but a short distance around the corner. There is also visitor parking available. I did not notice any tobacco odor which delighted me as I completely forgot to inquire about it being smoke-free. The AC worked just fine. There is a small balcony with a few pieces of patio furniture perfect for enjoying your morning or evening beverage or doing a bit of reading. The rate was certainly more friendly than most hotels/motels in the area. There of course is no daily maid service. Someone comes in to clean after your stay is over which is what the cleaning fee is for. I did make a couple of suggestions to the owner regarding some maintenance/cleaning issues (nothing major), but have not heard anything back from her to date.
