House, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

"Gramma's House" is a one bedroom, one bath detached home in desirable Glen Park Neighborhood. It is 3 blocks from Glen Park BART (metro).

The bedroom has a queen bed, plus there is a queen sofa in the living room (bath is accessed via the bedroom). 

The house is 2 blocks to cafes, restaurants, markets, hair salons, hardware store, and a book store which features weekend jazz musicians and poetry readings; A three block walk brings you to beautiful Glen Park Canyon, Walter Hass Park, & the Glen Park Library.  There is a Sunday Farmer's Market April through November which is located near Glen Park BART.

Glen Park BART has direct service to SF International Airport and to Downtown, the Business District and The Embarcadero, as well as to the East Bay and Peninsula.

The 52 Muni bus is across the street. Ocean Beach, SF Zoo, and Golden Gate Park are 15 minutes by car. No smoking. No pets.

There is a full Kitchen and dinette which includes a dishwasher, microwave, gas stove. The cupboards are stocked with the basics. There is a small outside patio/garden. Washer and dryer are complimentary.

This is a Real San Francisco Neighborhood with a country feel, full of trees and alleys.

I am a native San Franciscan and grew up in Glen Park. My family lives across the street and are happy to help you plan your visit to San Francisco.

PS: This is NOT the neighborhood for late night parties!

My husband and I were raised in San Francisco in the City. We have 2 grown children and a Golden Retriever. We frequently travel and enjoy welcoming friends and family to San Francisco.

We live across the street and love the neighborhood. .

What makes this house unique

In addition to the description above,

a 15' car ride brings you to the SF Zoo, Ocean Beach, Golden Gate Park, and other beautiful walking areas. Good location for family vacationers, and for business travel because of easy access to the airport and to the business district. Wireless internet is available for your use.

Great location, lovely base home from home, easy BART ride to town

Me and my family (wife, 10 and 4 year old) stayed here for 3 weeks whilst I was working in the CBD, and found the hosts extremely friendly, and the house very pleasantly kitted out, a good size, and very well-appointed for the price. Great parking, public transport, local shopping and loved the neighbourhood. Kitchen and bedroom were also great. Hoping to come again, this time without the kids so we can have the gorgeous bed, as the sofa was not the best sorry Dawn!

What everyone else has written about the property, location and owners is true. We really enjoyed our stay, and it was within walking distance of our daughter's/grandchildren's house. And Glen Park is such a nice area. We would definitely return, and feel like it was our home-away-from-home. Thank you, Dawn for making us feel so welcome.

What a beautiful little casita! Gramma's house is full of light and wonderfully appointed with a very comfortable bed and most everything you might need in the kitchen. This is an incredible deal. Dawn was very gracious and welcoming, despite seeing me at practically my worst, after a long travel day with my kids. I can't recommend Gramma's house highly enough, and we hope to return.

Charming Glen Park Residence

Gramma's House is a charming San Francisco residence in the quaint neighborhood of Glen Park. I really enjoyed my stay there and couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations - comfortable, clean, tasteful, and well-maintained. Further, the owners couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming. As another plus the house is very convenient for public transportation, which made touring around the city much easier, and near lots of great restaurants in Noe Valley and Glen Park. I would definitely recommend Gramma' House to other San Francisco visitors who want a relaxed and perhaps more authentic San Francisco visit. I felt just like a local! Thank you to the owners.

Grammas house

We felt it was 'home from home' the moment we entered this lovely property. A lovely welcome together with essential supplies included. Probably the most comfortable bed we;ve ever slept in!! One slight downside was the walk up from Glen Park centre - but I'm sure we left a bit fitter!!.I would recommend this to anyone, particularly if you don't want to use a car.as Glen Park is well served by the BART and the Muni.
