This is a nice level one story home on a quiet street located about a mile from the ocean in Huntington Beach, California. Front Door and Garage entrance. This is a great home to vacation in or work out of. It's a lovely newer home with vaulted ceilings in both Living Room and large Master Bedroom. Nicely furnished with better quality furnishings recently remodeled. You will feel very much at home here. Nothing is spared to make your stay enjoyable. The home is within walking distance of Huntington Beach pier and Main Street, 1.4 miles.. We have baby high chair, crib and changing tray, trike, bike with child seat, 24' child bike. Your small dogs are welcome and there are dog doors in the living room and bedroom for them. We have a courtesy Wheel Chair and Entry ramp for impaired guests. Everything is nice, clean and bright. Wheel Chair and Ramp for Disabled: The home has is completely level, tile floors, with a garage entrance direct to kitchen area. There is a wheel chair ramp between the garage to kitchen entrance. We had an impaired chair bound guest live in the home for an extended stay who reported no problem residing in the home. The master bathroom has a 6' x 7' shower with a built in bench and a shower chair. There are overhead and hand wand shower heads for washing in a seated position. If bed height is a factor we have a queen size futon that is very low to the floor. There are portable tables in the home for setting up next to our wheel chair bound guests. The computer is on a large desk for wheel chair roll up access.

  • The master bathroom spa has a very low step and a bench for impaired. We recently had a gentleman with a walker who was recovering from back surgery. He had no problems entering the premises or the shower spa. The spa is approximately 6' x 8' and whole families have showered together. There is an overhead shower, side and wand shower heads. Each shower has its own control. The vanity has two large illuminated mirrors and two sinks. There are extra toiletries, hair dryer, brushes, and towels in the bathrooms. We replaced the toilets, sinks and all plumbing fixtures and hardware in our recent remodel. Floors and walls are beautiful rough slate and glass tiles Even the toilet seat closes automatically! The guest bathroom has vanity sink, well lighted mirror, bath tub with shower, and a new Kohler toilet.

  • Recap of Beds: 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Double, 2 Twins = 5 Beds. We have been able to accommodate two or three couples, families consisting of Parents/4 adults plus 2 -3 young children. Altogether we have 5 beds plus a baby crib/sleeper/playpen. The full size sleeper sofa in the living room. The Queen futon is in the den/office area, Trundle/2 twins is in the guest bedroom, and the Cal-King is in the master bedroom. If you have sleeping concerns please contact us to discuss your individual needs. Each bedroom has its own TV with satellite programing. We have commercial quality cleaning and sanitizing of all linens. We have on site fairly new Kenmore washer and dryer, and you are welcome to do your own laundry if you wish. Thank you.

Notes: Huntington Beach is one of the 10 safest cities in the USA. Home is located in a quiet family neighborhood. The ocean is nearby and except for a few days the home remains cool in the summer. The home is level and floors are tiled through out, except carpeted the guest bedroom. We have a Pride Legend Mobility Cart (5 mi range) and a folding wheel chair for the use by our impaired guests. Loaner cell phone & GPS.. There are 2 dog doors leading out to the back deck and grassy dog area. The back deck has electric awnings to create shade over the lounge area and Jacuzzi. Children and Small dogs are welcome. We have two beach cruiser bikes, a 20' child bike, 2 adult 10 speed bikes (one with infant seat) , child's trike, helmets, Roller blades, 3 surf & Boogie boards, wetsuits, beach gear, ice box, and umbrellas. New Exercise bike. We have a kid's Yakima Bike Trailer/Jogger for biking or jogging 2 kids to the beach. A shop vacuum for removing sand from your car.

GREAT HOME AND WONDERFUL HOSTS!!!

The owners, Ken and Liz made us feel like family within minutes of arrival. We arrived on an evening flight and they came to the house to welcome us and shared information about the property and the local area. This is the type of you wished you owned and could visit on weekends. Ken and Liz are the type of hosts that go out of the way to make sure you have a wonderful visit to SOCAL.

The property feels like home and has much to offer. It is a great location tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood, but convenient to all the amenities in the area. The shower alone is worth the reservation, yet there is so much more … great media center with large HDTV, Bose sound system, Direct TV with premium movie package, blue ray DVD and x-Box; to our surprise, NFL Sunday Ticket was even active – so NFL fans who think that can’t travel during the season – this is your home away from home! Outside is a nice deck with hot tub, Weber grill, upgraded lighting and power awnings. Inside you find all a kitchen that is perfect for the family and well stocked with staple products for cooking and cleaning. The home includes a washer and dryer as well. This home is clean with upscale furnishings and attention to detail; in the garage you find toys galore – bikes, skateboard, surf boards, wet suit, and beach toys.

Next trip we will not have to look any further – this has become our home away from home in SOCAL. A sincere THANK YOU to Ken and Liz for a wonderful week and for being such warm and caring hosts!!!

Wonderful HOME!!!!!!!!

My family and I enjoyed everything the house had to offer and there is alot, between the bikes and going to the beach or some down time and sitting in the hot tub or relaxing watching a beautiful tv with a awesome media center movies, games, great chairs. And the master bathroom is amazing. The shower is worth it alone. Really we enjoyed everything about the house and everything it offers.
Nothing but the best too. The owners don't stock the house with cheap funiture and ect.

Huntington Beach quiet family home

This home is the peferct place to stay if your planning a vacation to Huntington Beach, CA. Ken and Liz are great to work with, they have everything you could ask for and more, plus it's in a quiet, family oriented neighborhood. It's nice place to escape the hustle and bustle of the PCH and beach. The beds are very comfortable. My kids shared the guest bedroom on the trundle bed and slept till practically noon everyday. The master bathroom is fantastic with the rain shower head and granite counter tops. The big screen t.v and theatre seating was great to watch the tour de france everyday. We loved relaxing in the evening in the secluded backyard with hot tub.This rental offers everything any family could possibly need and it's all in fantastic shape. The kitchen was even stocked with coffee, cooking oils, spices, condiments and even a couple of beers to help aid in the unpacking. The beach cruiser bikes were our favorite to ride into the downtown for shopping and dining.Oh, most important, they also allow pets. The kids used the boogie and surf boards. I would highly recommend this to my family and friends.

Thanks for the memories

This is a beautiful home. It was my first experience and I definitely would consider it again. I forgot to bring the address of the house or the telephone number of Ken And Liz, so we wandered around for quite a while looking for our place to stay. Finally, I called my home answering machine and Ken had called and left his number to call them, I think they figured we were lost. They came and rescued us. They were both so welcoming and showed us around their beautiful accomandations. It was a wonderful place to stay. Everything was clean and bright and so comfortable. Everything under the sun was provided for us, even food they they and other travelers had left for the next guests. It was easy to get around and find things in the area.Thank you again Ken and Liz, you are amazing.I am highly recomending this rental to everyone I know

This property felt like home in less than a day after our arrival. The owners were fabulous hosts in sharing all the information about the property and the surrounding area. It is a really great place to come to and enjoy all the toys and amenities that they have waiting for you! This home was comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood with friendly people. We brought our dogs with us and it was very obvious that they enjoyed the property also. If you have a dog you must visit "Dog Beach" in Huntington. It is an experience you and your dog will never forget. The house was very cozy and the feeling like you lived there came very quickly. The Flat screen and the sound system were totally enjoyable!!! We would recommend this property to those who have a family or dog.....it's just like being in your own home!!! The owners were there to greet us when we arrived and gave us their cell #'s in case we had any questions or problems. We have already booked this property again this year and have lengthened our stay!!!
