This is a nice level one story home on a quiet street located about a mile from the ocean in Huntington Beach, California. Front Door and Garage entrance with wheel chair ramp. This is a great home to vacation in or work out of. It's a lovely newer home with vaulted ceilings in both Living Room and large Master Bedroom. Nicely furnished with better quality furnishings recently remodeled. You will feel very much at home here. Nothing is spared to make your stay enjoyable. The home is within walking distance of Huntington Beach pier and Main Street, 1.4 miles.. We have baby high chair, crib and changing tray, trike, bike with child seat, 12', 16' and 24' child bikes. Your small dogs are welcome and there are dog doors in the living room and bedroom for them. We have a courtesy Wheel Chair and Entry ramp for impaired guests. Everything is nice, clean and bright. Our tenants are sorry to leave! Your may see more pictures at www.704oceanhillrental.us
Wheel Chair and Ramp for Disabled: The home has is completely level, tile floors, with a garage entrance direct to kitchen area. There is a wheel chair ramp between the garage to kitchen entrance. We had an impaired chair bound guest live in the home for an extended stay who reported no problem residing in the home. The master bathroom has a 6' x 7' shower with a built in bench and a shower chair. There are overhead and hand wand shower heads for washing in a seated position. If bed height is a factor we have a queen size futon that is very low to the floor. There are portable tables in the home for setting up next to our wheel chair bound guests. The computer is on a large desk for wheel chair roll up access.
What a great place to stay!

We stayed here March 20-27th 2010. The owners were incredibly nice and very helpful. They pointed out the best places to go, the local bars and eateries that suited our tastes and also general navigation for the area. Although we brought our own bikes, the ones they have at the house were surprisingly nice! If I was not so hell-bent on bringing my own bikes, theirs would have been GREAT! The surfboards are classics and easy to learn on. The beaches are about 1.5 miles away and I rode my bike there almost every morning. If you know how to surf hit Huntington Beach. If you are just learning or want to learn to surf, go to Doheny because the waves break and roll in which makes learning easier and safer. If you go to Catalina use the Newport shuttle rather than the Long beach one. It’s less crowded and about 5 minutes from the house. The house was fantastic and the recent remodel of the Master bedroom and bath turned out great. The multi-head shower was delightful. The Jacuzzi worked flawlessly and the backyard/deck area was a pleasure! We made breakfast every morning to get a good start on the day so the dishwasher came in handy. They have all the supplies and then some to do what you need to do.
In closing I want to say this was the best vacation I have had in a long time largely because of the accommodations of the house. Again the owners are extremely nice and helpful. They even called the first morning after we arrived to make sure we didn’t have any questions. I thought that was a nice touch. I have to say, if you have any concerns while you are there, call them and they will help you out right away. Thanks Ken and Liz. You and your home made our vacation one of the best we have ever had!!

We stayed here for 2 months and it was excellent, we have 3 boys, 7, 6 and 9 months and the house was really comfortable for us. Its not far to walk to the beach or Huntington Beach main street. The shopping mall and movies are all only 5 minutes away so the location is ideal.
The back yard is great, being from Scotland it was nice to be able to use the grill in January, the hot tub is excellent and was used nearly everyday by all of us.
The garage is filled with good bikes, skateboards, wetsuits and surfboards which was really good and something you don't tend to get in a vacation rental, having young boys its always 'boring' for them to walk about so having the bikes and skateboards was a big benefit, they were on them all the time!
All in we had a great 2 months here with nice memories, it's a nice quiet neighbourhood and the house is really homely, it doesn't feel like a vacation rental at all.
We will be back

For a stay in Huntington Beach this rental home is really good located. The quiet neighborhood , distance to the beach, shopping opportunities, main street with all the nice restaurants and the Huntington Beach High School made our stay very convenient. Our dog enjoyed the park nearby as well the beautiful dog beach a mile north from the pier. The house is equipped with all you need – even for a longer stay as ours (5 month) and is perfect for a family with kids and a dog. We have enjoyed a lot of time outside on the patio or in the whirlpool. The entertainment features within the house (nice flat screens, X-Box, Netflex, WiFi, printer, fax etc.) support all demands. The master bedroom with the very well done bathroom was very nice. Ken and Liz are very nice renter and were highly focus on our satisfaction. Whenever some help was needed they fixed it immediately – and this really beyond our expectations. Unfortunately we have to leave today because the house has been rented by some other regular guests otherwise we would extend our stay.
Many thanks to Liz and Ken – we hope to see you again in the future.

We rented this property July and August of 2013. The main reason this property caught our attention was the owners detailing how they have the home professional cleaned and what a clean freak his wife is. That works for me...but that surely was not the case when we arrived. The house was filthy! I needed to call a cleaning crew over the 4th of July Weekend(which was not easy to find) and they came every week until we departed. Light switches were black with dirt, blinds and windowsills covered in dust and dead bugs, small appliances on the counter tops never moved for cleaning and underneath old food and dead bugs, TV room chairs never cleaned, they smelled had animal hair on the chairs and cup holders fill with gunk, floors dirty with dust and dirt in all the corners. The cleaning crew found rat dropping behind the couch and when my husband emailed the owner his response was...I should get the cleaning crews number. Computer chairs so stained and filthy we moved them into the garage so my son would not touch them. When we change the pillow cases the pillows had stains on them so we bought new ones. The List goes on! I have to say, the bathrooms were clean.
Also, the owner entered the house without our consent on 2 occasions. That's not OK.
We have a 4 year old and it was a long haul walking to the beach with him and all his gear. (even in a stroller)
The house finally felt clean when we were packing up to leave.
The owners, Ken and Liz made us feel like family within minutes of arrival. We arrived on an evening flight and they came to the house to welcome us and shared information about the property and the local area. This is the type of you wished you owned and could visit on weekends. Ken and Liz are the type of hosts that go out of the way to make sure you have a wonderful visit to SOCAL.
The property feels like home and has much to offer. It is a great location tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood, but convenient to all the amenities in the area. The shower alone is worth the reservation, yet there is so much more … great media center with large HDTV, Bose sound system, Direct TV with premium movie package, blue ray DVD and x-Box; to our surprise, NFL Sunday Ticket was even active – so NFL fans who think that can’t travel during the season – this is your home away from home! Outside is a nice deck with hot tub, Weber grill, upgraded lighting and power awnings. Inside you find all a kitchen that is perfect for the family and well stocked with staple products for cooking and cleaning. The home includes a washer and dryer as well. This home is clean with upscale furnishings and attention to detail; in the garage you find toys galore – bikes, skateboard, surf boards, wet suit, and beach toys.
Next trip we will not have to look any further – this has become our home away from home in SOCAL. A sincere THANK YOU to Ken and Liz for a wonderful week and for being such warm and caring hosts!!!

My family and I enjoyed everything the house had to offer and there is alot, between the bikes and going to the beach or some down time and sitting in the hot tub or relaxing watching a beautiful tv with a awesome media center movies, games, great chairs. And the master bathroom is amazing. The shower is worth it alone. Really we enjoyed everything about the house and everything it offers.
Nothing but the best too. The owners don't stock the house with cheap funiture and ect.
Thanks again Liz and Ken,

This home is the peferct place to stay if your planning a vacation to Huntington Beach, CA. Ken and Liz are great to work with, they have everything you could ask for and more, plus it's in a quiet, family oriented neighborhood. It's nice place to escape the hustle and bustle of the PCH and beach. The beds are very comfortable. My kids shared the guest bedroom on the trundle bed and slept till practically noon everyday. The master bathroom is fantastic with the rain shower head and granite counter tops. The big screen t.v and theatre seating was great to watch the tour de france everyday. We loved relaxing in the evening in the secluded backyard with hot tub. This rental offers everything any family could possibly need and it's all in fantastic shape. The kitchen was even stocked with coffee, cooking oils, spices, condiments and even a couple of beers to help aid in the unpacking. The beach cruiser bikes were our favorite to ride into the downtown for shopping and dining.Oh, most important, they also allow pets. The kids used the boogie and surf boards. I would highly recommend this to my family and friends.
