Beach Wedding / Family getaway combo!!

THE PLACE TO BE! We booked the entire property for 9 days this past January and had a beautiful beach wedding to cap it off (read below for more wedding details). It was such an amazing experience from day 1 until the end! The property is what you would expect from a tropical island (it even has resident iguanas), but it also has it's own sprawling beach front with shallow waters and reef-protected beaches making it ideal for swimming, snorkeling and many other water activities; decent sized waves for boogie boarding but better surfing could be found 5-10 minutes away for those looking to get the full Rincon experience. We had Stand-up-paddle boards (SUP) delivered right to the house (half or full day rental available) and the water was calm enough for our 8 year old boy and 10 year old girl to learn on. We packed our own snorkeling gear although it can be purchased or rented locally. Large numbers of fish are constantly present in the waters right out front of the villa to enjoy snorkeling EVERY day (as was evident by the never ending dives by the local pelicans).
If you need to get off the beach and out of the sun, there is plenty of shade to duck under on the property. Coconuts can be found on the grounds to crack open and enjoy. There is a Mango tree in front of the main house and we were fortunate as it was dropping Mangos while on our stay. There are numerous areas outside to take in the scenery; random chairs and decks off every unit, along with a large yoga deck towards the north access point to the beach. Did we mention you can see the sunrise AND sunset from the beach and some of the decks on the main house? Brief rains form a little way out on the water, rarely reaching the villa but the color changing effects on the waters in view are breathtaking. We were blessed with some cloud cover almost everyday, but just during the hottest part of the day. The setting is the perfect combination of everything.
The main house has several areas where you can relax outside in the sun, shade, or even on the hammock. The layout of the main house is perfect to take advantage of whatever your pleasure may be. The covered area outside is where we spent most of our time dining and had our wedding dinner (no tent necessary for under 25 people). The apartment (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and small living room) is across the driveway from the house.
