Even before you enter the unit you start enjoying magnificent views of the intracoastal waterway and the skyline view of Figure Eight Island.Penthouse view with ocean front breeze. Floor-to-ceiling glass opens your den to the ocean so you can directly enjoy its sights and sounds all year round. Experience the ideal sunrise from the private balcony without getting out of your pajamas. We have a new Kingsdown Kingsize bed and also a new Queen Sleeper Sofa with built in air mattress. All New Furniture, New Sony Flat Screen TV.It is has Italian Porcelain Tile Throughout. The condo has one and half baths which includes a new tiled walkin shower with built in shower seat.

We have on onsite restaurant as well as indoor and outdoor pool.You can savor the local seafood in the heart of Wrightsville or venture to nearby Wilmington (only ten minutes away). Shell Island Resort Condo; Very Nice!

This condo in the Shell Island resort was very nice and the views were magnificent! My husband and I were quite comfortable for a whole week. The bed was extremely comfortable. The resort is also very nice; recently updated and a very friendly staff. The restaurant leaves a little to be desired, however. Hopefully they're working on that. The condo owner, Thad was wonderful; extremely helpful and responded to all our inquiries in a very timely manner. After renting from some other "not so nice" owners (not in NC) he was a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend this property and would definately go back!

This rental was very clean and a perfect location to be able to see both the ocean (sunrises) and marshes (sunsets). It is also at the end of the island, which meant that it was not crowded. It is next to a nature preserve that is roped off for the nesting birds on the inside but one can walk around the outer edges on the beach. The owner was most helpful and attentive and was prompt in getting back with us when an issue arose. We loved our time in this unit.

What a spectacular view! The sound of the waves can be heard throughout the condo.

We stayed at this condo when we were attending a wedding at Shell Island. What a fantastic view it was the best ever. You can hear the waves throughout the entire condo when the door to the balcony is open. The condo was very nice and the king size bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again with no hesitation. Thanks Thad for letting us use your wonderful condo.

A delightful property

Every detail was perfect - excellent quality linens, comfy bed, fair-value restaurant and bar within the resort (nice take-out opportunities for dining on the balcony); and the beach is huge and perfectly maintained. The indoor and outdoor pool facilities were immaculate and the oceanfront view from the condo was expansive. Shell Island Resort where the condo is located is at the farthest end of the island - unobstructed views, nice walking area. The common area + separate bedroom is so superior to a hotel room for virtually the same cost. The walk-in shower was easy access for anyone with trouble getting in or out of a tub. We found many fabulous restaurants within 3 1/2 miles, from tapas to French to fresh oysters, lobster tail, crab pots, and shrimp po-boys. Also within the same distance is a huge Harris Teeter grocery store for morning pastries, ice cream, and other good stuff. We'll certainly return.

My family has chosen this beach and this wonderful condo for our summer beach vacation for many years. The tiled floors and new furnishings and appliances make this a very comfortable place to relax. It has 2 large dressers that easily hold a week's worth of clothes for 4 people. The couch, rocker and recliner are all very comfortable and nothing like the standard beach furniture you find it most hotels and condos in this area. The full-sized refrigerator (with icemaker) is especially nice and we are able to stock up on everything we need for the week. The large walk-in shower is perfect after a day on the beach. It even has a second handheld showerhead if you just want to rinse off your legs and feet a little more when you take a break from the beach (when my children were younger, it was also great for getting all the sand off of them at the end of the day!). The king sized bed is comfortable, but it is a nice surprise that the convertible couch/bed air mattress is also quite comfortable. My two children sleep well on it and it easily folds away during the day so it is not a hassle to use. The flat screen tv and dvd player are new and in excellent condition. The view is incredible. Not only is it a beautiful beach, it is also NOT a crowded beach. It is really nice for walking and shelling and you almost feel like you're the only ones on the beach at times. The water is clean and clear and there is a lifeguard on duty every day. You can rent umbrellas, chairs and anything else you need for the beach on site. There is also a decent restaurant that serves 3 meals a day. I can't say enough good things about our vacations at Wrightsville Beach in this awesome condo. We don't want to stay anywhere else!
