About The Owner

We have lived and traveled all over the world-Australia, Fiji, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Europe, etc. We have sailed with whales, climbed mountains in the rain forest, and snorkeled the great barrier reef. When we decided to buy a vacation home, Sanibel Island was the destination we choose. Sanibel Island is a unique vacation destination. There are no traffic lights on the island, and no buildings erected higher than the palm trees. Most of Florida is so overbuilt, especially the coastal communities. Sanibel city planners did not allow this to happen on Sanibel. Two thirds of the island are nature preserves which means it is a place you one can enjoy the beauty and nature of southwest Florida. For the active family there is a variety of activities from hiking, shelling, biking, boating, and kayaking. There is a wonderful assortment of gourmet restaurants and first class shopping. From toddlers to grandparents, everyone can find something they enjoy on Sanibel. Sanibel is our favorite place in the world.

Pointe Santo is one of the most popular condo complexes on Sanibel. Before you rent anywhere else 'by-owner' on the island, please compare amenities because Pointe Santo has all of the following at NO EXTRA CHARGE to our guests: beach loungers line the edge of the beach, a heated pool, a hot tub, 2 tennis courts with loaner racquets available, WIFI, shuffleboard, beach volleyball, and a clubhouse with computers and printers for your use. Additionally a shell washing station, an abundance of gas grills, rest rooms at the clubhouse, books and games you can borrow. For a nominal fee, there are also ice cream socials, supervised children's arts and crafts, movie nights, etc. We have on site maintenance and beautiful landscaped tropical grounds and lagoon. And the E building is as close to the beach as you can get on Sanibel!

What makes this condo unique

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! There are few properties on Sanibel that sit just yards from the beach. Most were built after coastal construction set backs were enacted by the city and hence they are far back from the beach. The best thing about this property is its proximity to the beach- literally steps to the beach. The views are gorgeous and that is what I enjoy most when staying at my Sanibel home. I try to keep it as comfortable as possible for myself and my guests. Little things like overhead lighting in each bedroom, TV's in each bedroom, plenty of beach chairs and beach toys, ample closet space, and completely updated kitchen and baths make this a wonderful home away from home.

I visited Sanibel/Pointe Santo E37 with my family (husband and 3 adult children) this past January. We had such a good time and in particular LOVED Pointe Santo E37 so much that we signed up immediately for next January. This particular condominium is very special. I chose it for the Ocean View and proximity to the beach and you can't really do better than this. We watched the sunset over the water from the lanai each night (while we enjoyed a nice glass of wine). We kept the sliding doors open and fell asleep and woke up to the sound of the ocean. Without lifting my head from the pillow in the morning I could see the beach and the ocean and the early morning shell seekers. We walked the beach every day at least once. To get on the beach you go down stairs, walk about 15 steps across some grass and you are on the beach!! The condo is well appointed, very comfortable and in good condition. We made dinners there and found everything we needed. The location is very central and convenient. There was so much to do on Sanibel. I think our favorite was the kayaking - and we were not experienced kayakers. I could go on raving but won't. We all felt it was a fabulous vacation and for me it would not have been as special staying somewhere else on Sanibel if we did not have that closeness to the ocean.

The condo was awesome. We felt like it was home with all the wonderful furnishings. We especially
enjoyed the view of the gulf from the lanai. This was the first time that we saw manatees in the gulf
not far from the condo when we went for a walk. Linda, the owner, was especially helpful with the
rental. I definitely will recommend this property to friends and relatives. We are excited about vacationing on Sanibel Island again.

My family and I had a great time at Sanibel and we enjoyed the condo (Pointe Santo E37) very much. The condo was just as the owner described. It was clean and very comfortable, even with our 6 adults and one child. The owner (Linda) was very responsive to my pre-rental inquiries and answered all my questions. We would definitely stay there again!

The description and pictures were spot on for this condo. The location was great as we could enjoy the gulf from our lanai and to get to the beach we just walked down the stairs, crossed the lawn and were on the beach!
The condo was clean, modern and comfortable for us (5 adults and 2 children). We hope to come back in a year or two and will plan to stay at E37 Pointe Santo.
I have already recommended this condo to friends. The owner quickly responded to any question that I had. The storage closet had many useful beach items that we enjoyed using.
