View the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico from the ground level porches or from spacious upstairs Master Bedroom which opens on to a private terrace with an expansive view of the white sandy beaches below. The terrace affords privacy and an unobstructed view you will never forget.

As advertised :)

The house was great.
The location on the beach was better than expected.
Everything was as pictured.
The owners were very helpful in answering our question in advance of our arrival.

PS: We did go look at 2 other houses we were considering and both were not complete in there description as advertised, not enought to be disappointed but still noticable.

This is a great out of the way family orientated community without the all the traffic on the beach or roads.

Great place to relax and enjoy!!!!

We have stayed several times and always enjoyed it. Very nice large home with great beach
and amenities. Lots of dolphins and great sunsets. Super patio and large kitchen area. We
would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a laid back vacation and long walks on
a quiet beach.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Fantastic Location

Location, location, location. Yes, the house could really use some updating (kitchen, bathrooms, carpeting, furniture), however everything was very clean. The house is a great size with an open concept. The reason we came is to "get away from it all", and this place fits the bill!! The house is right on the beach which, by the way, it felt like we had to ourselves. We saw very few people, but lots of dolphins, crabs, and sea turtles poking their heads out of the water now and again! At night, you can sit on the balcony and star gaze. We saw so many shooting stars while here! We cooked almost every meal here. There is an IGA grocery store in nearby Carrabelle, and a few fresh seafood markets in the area. Nothing better than fresh seafood!! A couple of places we visited are: Gulf Specimen Marine Lab in Panacea and George Griffin Pottery in Sopchoppy. Perfect for a relaxing get-away. Carpe Diem!

Awesome Beach!

The owners are fantastic!! Very responsive and helpful. They are super well-organized and I received my cleaning deposit back very quickly.

The house was as advertised, well-stocked and very clean. They supplied linens, soap and cleaning supplies. The picture of the distance to the beach is a bit deceiving.. the beach is literally right there, steps away. It's an awesome beach - very clean and great shells. Since it's dedicated to a few homes on this small strip of land, it was nice and quiet.

The whole top floor is dedicated to the master suite with an awesome balcony looking out to the ocean. There is a large downstairs room (no attached bath, but right outside the door) and another room with bunks (twin top, double down). The house could use some updating, but it's very spacious, clean, and comfortable.

There is a tiki bar located a bit further up the street whose owners were very nice and the food was excellent. There are also a few restaurants somewhat close by - Dockside was great, nice outdoor area on the water and the food was really good. There are also a few wonderful fresh seafood markets - we were feasting on fresh clams, crayfish and grouper.

If you’re in the mood for a relatively private beach, relaxing getaway and not a lot of hubbub, this is the place for you.

House very dusty

Great location, beautiful beach but house was very dusty, spider webs in the living room windows and in the ceiling fan. I even got some in my hair. There was a chewed bubble gum on top of one of the bedroom lamps (bubble gum art?). Also if you like to cook while on vacation, bring your own pots and pans, because the ones that they have are in very bad shape. I am not a picky person, love to travel and have rent a lot of vacation homes, this is my first bad review about one. When I complained about the bubble gum, I received an e-mail response telling me that "I was trying to paint a broad impression of a dirty house". They offered to send a cleaning crew the next morning or we could check out and they will refund the remaining balance. The point is that whoever was in charge had a very rude attitude about a simple complain. Well, we knew that it was going to be almost impossible to find another place that same day, so we stayed and enjoyed the rest of the weekend. I won't recommend this house.
Owner's Response: In short is was very disappointing for all of us evolved that anything was overlooked. What the tenant failed to mention was her voice mail to us at 2AM demanding our attention to one item bubble gum that some child placed on a lamp shade in the bedroom, then she went on to insist she be offered a concession ($) for her rental.
The next morning at 8:45am we responded both by phone and email and spoke directly with the tenant. We insisted on having the cleaning crew come back to the house and they would available starting at 9AM or at her choosing, plus if she was still unhappy we could refund her rental. Regardless she declined to have the cleaning crew return and thus verify her claims and without an inspection one is left to believe she was dramatizing. Upon our clean out inspection we found the house to be orderly without any excess time spent and the removal of a piece of bubble gum from the rear bedroom lamp shade, by the way you could not see it if unless you were lying bed.
