First, make no mistake, this is one BEAUTIFUL vacation home! My wife and I were absolutely delighted at how gorgeous, spacious, clean and comfortable the house was. It was just awesome to come home to this place at the end of a day out and about or on the beach! The master bedroom boasts a king sized bed that is extremely comfy and the bedroom has a bathroom to just die for! The pool is beautiful; we spent many hours lounging in the water and hanging out with all the little geckos and frogs that joined us on the lanai. The neighbor and property manager, Barb, is truly a wonderful woman and we just adored her. Not only is she very kind and always willing to help in any way she can, without ever seeming to intrude at all, we became good friends during our stay and look forward to seeing her again next year. Despite the beautiful home and the amazing time we had, we did have some small hiccups along the way. The central air in the home is very finicky. It couldn't be turned below 75 or else it would freeze the pipes, and we had one instance where the A/C stopped working for nearly 12 hours and the house got up to 85 degrees. Whew! It's a very large home so it feels like it takes a long while to cool down. Barb had the A/C guy come out so we had to stay in the house for the day to wait for him. He said there were issues with the duct work, not the A/C unit, but who knows. The owners are very nice folks and allowed us to stay one extra night for the troubles, at no additional charge. For that, we were appreciative. We LOVED our time in FL and will be back next year! Thank you Philippa, Eric and Barb! :o)
