Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Our unit, E-31, is a corner unit on the third floor in the E Building of Pointe Santo, which is one of two buildings closest to the beach. The unit has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, a full kitchen (very well equipped), and a washer/dryer. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and a large adjoining dressing area/master bath. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The living room sofa folds out into a queen sized sleeper. We have televisions with cable in the living room and the bedrooms (with a High Def TV and VCR/DVD player in the living room ) and a stereo player for tapes and CD’s in the living room. The unit has been completely remodeled is in beautiful condition.

An excellent feature of our unit is that the second bedroom has its own small screened porch off the back with a sliding door. It gives a spacious feel to that bedroom, and unlike most other units, our back bedroom does not have a corridor outside the window with people walking by--so the extra privacy is a plus.

Our condo rents by the week, Saturday to Saturday.

Pointe Santo is a large, well-maintained condominium complex with all amenities you would want or expect. There is a pool, a hot tub, a clubhouse with supervised activities for children, tennis courts, shuffleboard, barbeque grills, and many other good features. Wireless internet service is now available throughout the complex, a great convenience.

About The Owner

We are Jack and Sally Kennedy from West Hartford, Connecticut and Sanibel. We are both retired and live on Sanibel in our house on Schooner Place during the winter months. We rent the condo to others most of the time, but we and our children love staying there from time to time because of its wonderful beach location.

The Owner purchased this condo in 1991

Why The Owner chose Sanibel Island

We bought the condo when we were staying there with our children in 1991 and learned that it was for sale. We had stayed in other places on the island before then but this was a perfect family vacation place for our family ever since. Everyone always loves to come back to enjoy the beauty and all the fun things that Sanibel has to offer.

We ( couple with 2 children, 7 and 12 ), had an excellent stay in unit E31. Very nice apartment, felt like home, we did not want to leave...

The "resort" is perfect for families with children in all ages. Well-placed with direct beach access.
We had a 2-bedroom condo, newly updated with new kitchen appliances and all possible things you need for a week.
I think the reviews of the Pointe Santo-condos in general vary because of when and how the units have been updated (as mentioned, our was really good, so be careful to choose right).

After walking the beach watching other properties, we think Pointe Santo offers the best location in Sanibel!

The only downside with Sanibel as an area is that you need to take the car/bike everywhere for shopping and eating (distances on the island are too long for walking...) this could easily be solved with a small shop at Pointe santo with cold drinks, ice cream etc.

We will definitely come back!
