After my husband & I had spent numerous ski vacations with our family @ destination ski resorts we followed the advice of local coloradians....'Before you buy, look @ Winter Park'. We did....& haven't looked back. Winter Park is a small friendly town with a World Class Resort! We purchased our town home because we are walking distance to the resort and we have a $1M VIEW....we couldn't find the same high quality or type anywhere else!
LOCATION! Walking Distance to base - Spectacular VIEW - 7 person private hot tub - complimentary internet/wireless - gourmet kitchen & utensils (spices even provided) - Natural Gas Grill (no tanks to deal with..ugh!) - unique...ALL mattresses are protected with Clean & Rest covers, Pillows covered as well - Full Washer & Dryer (detergent & softener provided). As a guest, you receive our undivided attention as we ONLY manage one Colorado property. We are 'on call' the minute you arrive until the minute you depart! We've stayed at many VRBO rentals, this was my favorite! The house is very nicely decorated and has every amenity we could hope for. Maggie was extremely accommodating and provides all the small things that many other rentals don't... hand soap, detergent, plenty dish soap, etc. We did restock the coffee, because we used it all. We had room for the kids to play in the snow downstairs and enjoyed not having to compete for space in the hot tub.
The parking pass was convenient as well. very appreciated added bonus.
We stayed at this property for 2 nights. There were 2 families with 3 kids each ranging in age from 2-16. The space was perfect for all of us and the kids were in heaven with all the amenities. We usually stay at the Zephyr Mountain lodge when we go to Winter Park for the ski in/ski out access but those units are MUCH smaller than what we experienced at his property. Plus, the parking pass made up enough for the ski in/ski out bonus. Maggie was also very professional and easy to work with. My only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer!!
this place was absolutely amazing! incredible views... amazing location! the convenience to the town is perfect. great area right outside the back porch to let the kids play in the snow. i would recommend to anyone! A+++
This home is very well taken care of and kept extremely clean. Our expectations were exceeded and we were taken back by how large the home actually is. It accommodated our 2 families of 9 people with ease. The location across from the resort was ideal with the great mountain views, and the parking pass just topped it off. Maggie was a pleasure to work with and did not hesitate to respond to our questions. We definitely hope to stay here again and enjoy her wonderful home. Thanks Maggie!
We were two families staying with 3 kids in each family. The house was perfect for us as not only did each kid have his or her own bed, but they had their own fun living area too. Maggie takes emaculate care of the property and I loved that she gave instructions for each guest to help keep the home in tip top shape. Her communication was outstanding both before and during the trip. She even passed along great specials, recommendations, and savings tips for our stay. We definitely used the free parking pass which was wonderful, but even on the days we needed two cars, it was very easy to park at the gondola to ride over to the ski area for free. On our last night, we received quite a dumping of snow, and it was impossible to get out of the driveway without four-wheeled drive, but of course Maggie had ice melt in the garage, and thirty minutes later we were out. The house in in close proximity to the ski area, but not really within walking distance if you are walking in the snow with ski equipment. It would be a beautiful walk in the non snowy season, but I walked it one day with my ski gear and it ended up being nearly a mile through deep banks and I am in excellent shape. Just FYI. Needless to say, the accommodations are outstanding with every amenity you could ever need. Thanks again. We can't wait to return!
This condo is everything you could ask for - Plenty of room for our large family, beautifully appointed, and exceptionally well prepared for guests. We had quite a bit of snow, but Lakota crews had it cleared in no time. The owner was so nice to work with -We had a wonderful time, and highly recommend this condo!
