On end of west shore crystal clear deep water Indian Pond. Beautiful views and great swimming, fishing and boating. R+Trophy splake fishing in season..great trout and bass fishing throughout the summer. Kayaking, canoeing or just leaning back in your favorite tube. Lovely loons to watch and listen too, frequent deer sightings and if you are lucky a moose. Camp road access means no noise of traffic or vehicles passing. Hiking the surrounding hills or just taking a walk is right outside the door. More adventurous hiking in near bye White Mtns, Evans Notch and Grafton Notch. Eight miles to Bethel and its 4 season activities and lovely shops as well as great restaurants from casual to fine dining. This is the perfect summer getaway, at the right price.

  • The whirlpool tub is a great place to relax with a book, the on demand hot water never runs out. The tongue and grove walls are warm and comforting.

We stayed at the lake house in July of 2011 and had a wonderful, peaceful stay. The pond was clean and warm and we really enjoyed listening to the loons each evening. Donna and Tom were a joy to deal with and quickly took care of anything that popped up. The property is beautiful inside and out and quite private. The layout worked well for kids to have their own space, but brought us all together on the open concept main level to enjoy the view and terrific meals in the well-appointed kitchen. We had everything that we needed and then some - movies on a rainy night and bonfire under the trees and stars when it was dry. We were very happy staying close to capitalize on the relaxing environment, but we did venture out and found plenty to do not far away to keep the (then) 12 year-old entertained. We all hope to return with our little guy who was "in the oven" during our first visit.

We rented this home for a week in July. It was what we expected and more! The home was secluded and peaceful but still close to attractions. We were pleasantly surprised to find the home larger than we expected. Donna and Tom were very sweet and made sure we had everything we needed (soap, batteries for the remote, laundry detergent). We had a wonderful time swimming, canoeing, fishing and just relaxing. I happily recommend this home to anyone!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
