Nature on Norwood is a "boutique Hotel Suite" nestled in a quiet, private North Vancouver residential neighborhood. It is a secure and complete home away from home with concierge on site to support your enjoyable stay in every way. Our 1000 square foot self-contained suite with private entrance is conveniently located in central North Vancouver, 4 minutes away from Highway #1, between LIon's Gate Bridge and the Iron Workers Memorial bridge. The suite has both private parking at your front door, as well as street parking.

We are 1 1/2 hours away from Whistler, 7 minutes from Grouse Mountain and 15 minutes away from Downtown Vancouver.

The suite was completed in August 2009 with the comfort and pleasure of our guests in mind. We strive to give our guests the privacy, rest and relaxation they require. There is a 42 inch flat screen HD TV in the living room as well as a second flat screen HD TV in the bedroom. There is a comfortable Murphy bed with a tempur-pedic queen mattress in the living room. All mattresses are new.

Out on the patio you will be serenaded by the sound of running water from the creek beside the lot.

My favorite room in the suite is the spa bathroom, consisting of a large soaker tub and walk in shower with seat.

About The Owner

My name is Joanne, I live and work in North Vancouver. My husband Tom and I moved to the West coast for the more laid back life style ....... we do like to relax . When we go on holidays we are particular about our accommodations, they have to be inviting and comfortable. It was with this attitude that we planned our renovation and have opened our property to visitors.

The Owner purchased this apartment in 2009

Quiet little Gem in beautiful North Vancouver

Our 12 day stay at Nature on Norwood was everything we expected and more. The location is peaceful and conveniently located to all that Vancouver has to offer. Short drive to the local mountains, the beach, downtown and about 1-1/2 hrs to Whistler. We were in town to visit family and friends and couldn't have asked for a lovelier place to stay. The weather was cold during our visit but the heated floors and fire place kept us toasty warm at all times. The owners are very hospitable and meticulously maintain the suite. The pictures represent the property well. We would highly recommend this suite to anyone visiting North Vancouver at any time of the year. We hope to be back some time soon.

Mountain Tranquility ... in the city!

We had an opportunity to stay in this suite for two months (September and October), while in between homes. Being North Vancouver residents, we had a great pleasure staying in our hometown. However…we felt like we were on a vacation the entire time!
Joanne and Tom have created a modern and well-appointed 1-bedroom suite. It had everything we needed to function through our daily lives. A fantastic bathroom with soaker tub to erase the stresses of the day, a fireplace to sit by and watch a good movie. Although we had only a couple of weeks in September to enjoy the patio and BBQ – there is no doubt this is a great space to enjoy the summer evenings!
As a vacationer – there is nothing you need! Just pick up a bag of groceries and enjoy cooking in the well laid out kitchen. There are many restaurants in North Vancouver, lots of hiking trails and quick access to downtown Vancouver.
The jewels of this property – sounds of the creek and the peaceful forest that surrounds. Oh and of course – the hosts! Joanne and Tom!

Cozy and has-it-all-comfort suite

We had a wonderful experience staying at this quite and comfortable suite surrounded by trees and quite neighborhood. It is convient to shops, downtown vancouver as well as hiking and biking areas, such as Lynn Canyon Park and Seymour Reservation. Joanne and Tom helped to make it very pleasing. We hope to come again.

So good want to keep it a secret

We loved staying at this suite in North Van. Joanne has thought of everything and made us feel right at home. The condo was spotless, quiet, and beautifully decorated. Nestled in a rain-forest with a lovely cascading creek to lull you to sleep at night. Beds were comfy; spa shower was glorious. We were welcomed with a basket of treats and food for our breakfast. Thanks for the awesome hospitality!
