Serene and Impecable House

I have stayed in over 20 vacation rental homes across the country over the past several years and this was the cleanest and most comfortable of them all.
Three friends flew from around the US to the PA country side to celebrate my 40th birthday over a long weekend. This home made the weekend perfect. From every room in the house you have an incredible view of the river. Sounds of birds and the rushing water are the backdrop. A few steps out the door is the canal path, so you can take wonderful walks without ever getting in the car to drive to a trail head. Our weekend was rainy off and on. This house made it so easy to sit inside during the rain while still enjoying the views of the river and then we just would step out the door and on to the path the minute the rain let up.
The home itself is very spacious. The kitchen quite well equipped. The beds are super comfy and there are plenty of sofas and reading nooks throughout the house. The deep claw foot tub with the magnificent view felt like a private spa. We spent nights around the dinner table eating great meals and then chilling out in front of the fire place.
Robbie was very easy to communicate with. He has a welcoming and available vibe, but unlike many other vacation rental owners, he gives you space and doesn't have a million picky rules. It is a pleasure to just enjoy his fabulous home. How lucky I am to have stumbled upon this gem on vrbo!
