About Tom Sullivan
We first came to the Vail Valley 15 years ago and fell in love with Minturn. It is great to stay in a real mountain town and be only a 10 minutes drive from two of the greatest ski resorts in the world - Vail and Beaver Creek. We live in England most of the year, but our lovely new mountain home with its cool modern feel and spectacular views makes us long for the ski season and the beautiful Colorado summers. We hope you love it as much as we do.
Tom Sullivan purchased this house in 2009
Why Tom Sullivan chose Minturn
We love Minturn and we love skiing.
What makes this house unique
There are very few homes that are truly ski in off of Vail Mountain and this is one of them. The back country trail The Minturn Mile is a great way to end the day. Leave through the back country access gate at the top of the Lost Boy run off of Game Creek Chair #7. Ski down the powder field at top and then follow the run off along Game Creek. it is about an hour run and at the end is our home. It is a very soft back country experience with no chance of avalanche and difficult to get lost.
