House with deck and large meadow with a south side ocean view. Walk to the bluff edge (the Point) and enjoy a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean and views to the west, of the bluffs and beach(as pictured.) Enjoy the sunset view from the Point on the double Adirondack chair. The beach is very private with very limited public access. Sleeps 6. Two bedrooms have full beds and the east bedroom has a bunk bed. There is a utility room with a half-bath. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes. A short walk away from the infamous painted rock and a mile away from Southeast light. Close to several Greenway walks.

Our house is on a meadow overlooking Atlantic Ocean right on the Bluffs of Block Island which is 12 miles off the coast of Rhode Island. It is accessed by the Block Island Car Ferry (6-8 ferries per day). Block Island goes back in time- 1940's hotels, no 'chain' businesses - all Ma and Pa shops and stores... and one of the great beaches in the world, Crescent Beach, according the Travel Channel. You will love it !

We start booking for the next year starting in January for new people. Return people should contact me in mid December.

The house is in a fantastic spot...right on the cliffs called "Mohegan Bluffs". The yard is huge and we played frisbee and soccer right out in front of the house. If you're brave and in good shape you can make your way down the steep and narrow trail to the beach below. It's one of the most private and picturesque beaches I've ever seen. Rugged cliffs, pounding surf and the most amazing rocks rolling into the beach with each wave make it a special place.
The house is very minimal in that it's easy to take care of and you don't have to worry about fancy rugs or furniture. There's an indoor and outdoor shower and the addition of a gas grill this year that we enjoyed using. It's just a simple cottage.. but very comfortable. We've rented this house for 3 years and have never had less than a wonderful time.
