La Nova Esquerra de l'Eixample Apartment Rental Photos and Description
Apartment, 3 Bedrooms + Library, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)
Family who booked July had to cancel! Lucky guests will get a chance to late book our place this year!!
This beautiful 3 bedroom apartment in the Eixample district of Barcelona is located right above the Rocafort metro entrance on the Gran Via. It is an easy 7 block walk from here to the heart of the city and only 5 short blocks from the Placa Espanya and Montjuic, home of the Olympic stadium and beautiful hiking trails.
Some of the trendiest restaurants are only a few blocks away. There is an elevator, washer/dryer, and both supermarkets and fresh markets nearby. The modern kitchen is fully equipped.
Traveling with kids? There are parks all around us including the Miro park where the playground has a little coffee bar so you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a beer while the kids play. Restaurants are very child friendly and people are often out until late at night without a second thought! Be sure to head to Tibidabu and have fun in this theme park that overlooks the city!
No kids, no problem! Nightlife abounds in this town! There is Flamenco, great local food, clubs are close, taxis frequent and this peaceful haven to return to at the end of your night. Unlike other cities, life in Barcelona is on the streets, the art is viewed from the doorstep and the wine flows freely!
Why so inexpensive? It costs so much just to get to Europe! I would rather people travel and see the world than gouge my guests so in the spirit of encouraging people to find out how wonderful this city is I keep the price low. The apartment is beautiful and quite a bargain!

Connie, Our trip to Barcelona was wonderful! We loved everything we saw. It is such a neat city. Your apartment was perfect! It had everything we could have possibly needed and was in perfect location. We just hopped on the Metro or walked wherever we needed to go. Thank you so much for renting it to us! We will certainly recommend it to any of our friends who plan a trip to Barcelona.
I am a Denver photographer and my husband and I brought our family to Barcelona for two years. My heart is still there and I return frequently. We love traveling but now that college is on the scene the family travel time is limited to the holidays.
Ahh, Barcelona. A city where the art is on the streets rather than locked up in museums! I fell in love with the modernista architecture, the life in the cafe's, the sea nearby, and the overall graciousness of the place. The clubs are a riot, the festivals often dangerous and very exciting, and the food is always fresh!
Living where you can walk or take very fast public transportation is a huge plus in this city. It is built on a human scale rather than for cars which makes it very accessible as well as a nightmare for traffic! By and large, It is a safe place as long as you are not on the Ramblas~think Paris or Rome and keep your jewelry discrete. I frequently see elderly people on the street at 12:30 walking home without fear. With so much to do, anytime of year is fun to be in Barcelona!
