CENTRAL LOCATION - STEPS TO THE HISTORIC RIDEAU CANAL

Location, and home was excellent. Spacious, everything you could need. Kitchen well set up, bedrooms spacious, lots of bedding and towels. Washer/Dryer nice feature. It's lots of stairs, so if mobility is an issue, it could be difficult. But, if you're healthy, like our family, it was no issues at all. We just laughed, even if the weather was bad, we could have done stairs for our workout. Owner was very helpful, and asked for feedback on the cleaning. Definitely would recommend this location, despite the fact that they are re-construction Landsdowne Park which is directly across from it. The work takes place during daytime, Monday to Friday. The playground park is just around the corner, excellent for my grandchildren. The canal is literally not 5 minutes away(walking), for biking, hiking. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance. I call anything under 3 km. easy walking distance. There are restaurants everywhere on Bank Street, at the end of Holmwood.

I would definitely rent there again, and all of my family and friends who came to visit during the week (we had a wedding in Ottawa), couldn't believe we found this on-line.

This was a great vacation house. I would definitely recommend this property to stay. It was clean and most of everything that was needed for sleeping, cooking etc.. was provided. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect. Right in the middle of the trendy Glebe area and two minute walk to the canal.

Had a great time with all 8 of us hockey lovin' girls. Nice location to skate the canal (5 mins walk). You don't even need a vehicle if the canal skateway is open. You could skate to downtown in a short time. The house was well appointed with a huge kitchen with dishwasher. Livingroom with entertainment galore. Slept all 8 of us comfortably, but the pullout (as is inherent to pullouts) was not the most comfortable. All other beds exceptionally clean & comfortable .I would imagine the fenced in yard would be great in the summer with BBQ facilities available. The neighbourhood was nice and quiet and easy to get to. Our only issue was the shower where it was very difficult to keep the water at a constant temperature, might just need a service. Needless to say no long showers. We would highly recommend this property especially if you are travelling with a group. Would have loved to have stayed longer.
