The Owner purchased this house in 2005
Why The Owner chose Sandestin

We have owned inside Sandestin Resort for many years. A few years ago we discovered Sandpiper Village and fell in love with the Village and the people. We bought our first Villa, 17th Heaven in 2004, our second, Sandollar Villa in 2005 and our third, Greens 'N' Gulf in 2006. We lived in 17th Heaven while we built our home on the east side of the resort and moved here full time in 2007. Our 2 boys, their wives and our 9 grandchildren enjoy the villas as much as we do. We hope you will come back again and again to experience the unique vacation experience we have come to love.

What makes this house unique

Centrally located inside Sandestin Resort, Sandpiper Village is close to everything. There is so much to see, do and eat right here you can stay a week and never have to leave property. However, the largest Designer Outlet Shopping Mall in the country is located directly next to the resort just in case you get bored. The golf courses are your backyard and the most incredible sugar sand beach in the world is just minutes away.

We loved our three month stay at Sandollar Villa. The accommodation itself was clean, well equipped and spacious. We particularly enjoyed the large balcony off the master suite with its great views of the golf course and sunsets. The area, Sandpiper Village, is beautiful, with tall grasses, lovely flowers and well maintained grounds. It is close to many activities - great golfing, never ending shopping, a huge variety of dining, as well as one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. We highly recommend this unit and area.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great condo. Pics/description was spot on and we really liked the unit. Very clean. Would have been helpful to have access to 2-3 house keys to share with group. We all were headed different directions during the week and it was cumbersome to bend down and open lock box every time. Also, had only left us with 1 garbage bag and about 1 tbsp of dawn dish soap - very sparse. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would book the condo again and would recommend to others. Thank you kindly!

Great, Clean House

The Sandollar Villa house was perfect for our family. We had our family of 5 plus my two in-laws. Loved that all of the bedrooms were upstairs. This helped with our early-riser family members not disturbing our late risers. The house was nicely decorated and more importantly, very clean! The listing description and pictures are very accurate to what it really looks like. JL was very helpful with any questions that we had. The bicycles are very handy with a teenager and for me and my husband. We rode around the resort to scope everything out. I would recommend this property to any of my friends or relatives. Highly recommend going to the Village of Baytowne Wharf. This is one of our favorite places.

Our stay at the Sandpiper was very enjoyable. It was very, very clean and the house exceeded our expectations. We had 5 people stay very comfortably. The two king beds is a plus and I like the twin beds better than bunks. The photos accurately reflect the appearance of the house. There were plenty of towels.There was also plenty of closet space and hangers in the closets. It allowed us to feel as though we weren't living out of a suitcase. Our very favorite part was the screened porch. We spent most of our vacation out there. Having a tv in each bedroom offered personal time for each person. If you go to Destin for the golf is absolutely wonderful! The only thing we would have changed was it's proximity to the beach. The grounds are maintained beautifully and every day we woke up saying, " it's another day in paradise".

We have stayed in several different units around Sandestin as we love the resort. This ranks amont the best. Wonderful layout for the family, all the descriptions from the website are reflected in the unit. The unit was clean and ready for us as promised. I think the only issue was, we had to go home. Sandestin has all one needs for a wonderful vacation. Staying in a condo like this one makes for a perfect vacation.
