Photos and Description of the Varmland vacation farmhouse rental

The croft is situated high up, giving a never ending view. There is a beautiful veranda with roof and dinning area. There is a living room with a stove from Bergslagen, an elegant sofa, TV (with mostly German satellite channels), pinewood flooring and ceiling. You can also find a wood fire sauna, shower with washroom and toilet. There is a kitchen and dinning area with pinewood ceiling and a pinewood staircase to upstairs. The bedroom on the ground floor has pinewood flooring and ceiling, stove from Bergslagen and two beds. Upstairs you will find a bed sofa with two extra beds. The bed loft is cosy with visible beams and two beds each. In the garden, you will find garden furniture and a grill.

The croft is quietly idyllic situated 17km outside Grythyttan, 80 km north of Örebro and 250 km west of Stockholm. You will find good possibilities for hiking and fishing and real wild-life-experience. You can make an elk-safari in the woods. Free for the guests are rowboat, canoe, bathing jetty, electric boat motor and fishing of perch and pike in four lakes. Normally the woods are rich with berries during the summer and later also with mushrooms.

Fishing and boats: The guests of Spjutsjöfallet do have an own Rowboat at the lake 'Storspjuten' (800m). ***Down by the lake, only 200 m from the residence, you will find a bathing jetty, beach hut and rowboats/canoes/el. motorboat. ***Boats and fishing of perch and pike in four lakes are free for our guests. ***Put and take fishing can be done to a fee in near by lakes.

Golf: Between the residence Spiktorp and the lake is a hill covered with birch and a golf training complex with its central green at the disposal of our guests of Spiktorp and Spjutsjöfallet . Spiktorp is situated between two golf courses which are of great natural beauty (distance 30 km.).
