The Lake house in Ellsworth is a beautiful executive home on almost three acres, that boasts 100 feet of private waterfront on all sports 6 Mile Lake.

The wooded setting and beautiful lake will make your vacation wonderfully relaxing and when you are ready for action the lake invites you to boat/water ski, Boyne Mountain invites you to ski, and the nearby snowmobile trails will quench your need for speed.

The home has room for the whole family (2300 square feet) and the log interior, luxurious appointments, and gourmet kitchen will welcome you. It is a great place for a family reunion.

About The Owner

My wife and I are both Midwesterners but the Army has taken us away for 20+ years. The Lake house in Ellsworth is that place that brings our family back together. We love the privacy of the wooded location and the great beach. The gentle slope into the water is great for the kids and the boating is great. We hope you'll love the house as much as we do.

Northern Michigan is a beautiful area that evokes images of the wonderful times we shared with our friends and family in our youth. The lake is beautiful, uncrowded and still offers all the opportunities for fun expected on an all sports lake.

What makes this house unique

This is a fantastic lake house that offered us amenities that were uncommon in other cottages. We are able to enjoy the beauty of the lake and wide open property without giving up any of the luxury you expect from a fine home.

We stayed there last year (2011) and are getting ready to stay a bit this summer. This is the only rental that we have gone back to for a second vacation. Lovely place to find some R&R ~ Beautiful home ~ quaint little town and close enough to many destinations. The owner of this property is outstanding! Great place for reconnecting with family and to get away from the daily grind.

This property is everything and more it is said to be,very quiet area but,close enough to a larger town/city if needed.We would hope to rent this property again.
