PATSY'S PLACE, TOUTED AS THE GEM OF TAHOMA

Tahoma Cabin Rental Photos and Description

2 bedrooms 2 baths, sleeps 1-6-Beds for all no pull out couch.

Welcome to Patsy's Place - it is our second home. It is an amazing updated 1959 cabin that has been painstakingly updated from the foundation to the roof.is situated on 3 lots on the West shore in Tahoma, CA. The uniqueness of this space is that it can host a party for 50 or more outside on the grounds, but the cabin itself can accommodate 1-6 peoples. The first thing you will notice when entering this property is the gorgeous setting, it is truly quite lovely and you won't get any closer to Sugar Pine Point State Park as you can see from the pictures it is literally and seamlessly in your front yard in fact it feels like it is part of the front yard

We have worked very hard to update most all of the appliances, providing a wonderful kitchen and living space. The cabin itself is over 1550 sqft, comfortable, charming and well kept. The kitchen, dining room and living room host an open plan, leading down the hall to a rather comfortably sized bathroom with shower and soaking tub

Charming beyond Belief-: We have 1 bedroom downstairs that will acommodate 4 persons, child or adult queen & 2 xl twins. There is a master bedroom upstairs that has a king bed . You will find plenty of storage. Although no need to bring sheets or pillows, we provide all cotton sheets and down pillows, large bath sheets and beach towels. We try to make each and every stay one that we ourselves would want to experience. One of the beautiful features about the cabin is the outdoor space-we have an enormous 3/4 wrap around deck that is close to the ground, we have worked hard to clean up the grounds and continue to work on the garden.

Hopefully by the pictures you can see the charm of Ole Tahoe, but the beauty is that it is updated and provides for a very wonderfully restful stay. New addition, with new mudroom, 6 more feet in the living room, new gas fireplace with stone surround and carved wood mantel. New laundry room with full washer and dryer. new masterbedroom..

This is the place you want to bring your Sweetheart, the place you've hadn't had the time to read that book or better yet write your biography. Patsy's Place is truly about renewing your spirit. You may hear a few children in the neighborhood, but at night it is something rarely ever experienced, total silence.

Enjoy the little town of Tahoma, West Side Pizza, PDQ Market-try their sandwiches, the local video shop....there is a small HOA rocked beach, but Meeks Bay Beach is a few miles south and Chambers Landing is a short skip North. Homewood Ski is very close and check out Homewood Obedexer's new deli itis north and Squaw Valley is about 25 minutes NW.

We feel you will think you have found a little jewel in the Tahoe Basin, as we feel we were blessed to be stewards of this beautiful property. Please inquire as to our availability and don't hesitate to ask questions.

We wish you and yours a very wonderful and fulfilling stay at Patsy's Place, Tahom

Yeah we are finally done with the addition! And every inch was magically touche. Just enough room but not enough to get lost in. We are proud of where we started and where we are at. This is a very special location....we hope you agree.

My husband and I are Organic farmers in the Sacramento Delta. We painstakingly refurbished and cleaned up the very large lot and old cabin to make it more comfortable ....everything about this place will leave you thinking wow, how many rentals do you find like this.

Laura Franceschini purchased this cabin in 2008

We chose this property because it was the last home on the block, half acre, fronting Sugar Pine Point State Park

Charm beyond compare, large private lot, large deck, gardens, cabin set back no through traffic so very peaceful and quiet.

PERFECT cabin!!!!

Patsy's place was perfect for so many reasons. We have rented cabins in Tahoe with another family for years and this place was by far the best place and reasonably priced to boot! It was beautifully decorated, had just the right touch, completely stocked beyond any place in my entire life of rental properties, comfortable and warm, with a sweet Tahoe feel. It was truly remarkable how smooth our stay was. Our kiddos had a blast playing in the snow on the deck and the windows that circle the whole house made it feel safe for us to peek out at their fun without having to be right there with them. The simplicity of walking down the road one block to cross the fence to do x country skiing brought so much ease to our days (with little kids in tote in can be hard to schlep everything/one more than once a day). The rooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms so well designed and had high end quality to them (esp the upstairs!!!!). The warming seat on the toilet…that was a huge hit! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Patsy's. I wanted our families to stay another few days because it was just perfect. Most cabins don't have little things like paper towels or baggies or foil. Some don't have kitchen equipment but Patsy's place had everything! We would go back to this cabin in a heart beat and would love to be there in the summer time also. It has such a lovely feel at the end of the road, under the trees and at the edge of the sugar pine state park (campground). I can imagine sitting by the outdoor fire in the summer would be amazing. Our two families were incredibly happy to stay at Patsy's. YOU MUST STAY HERE!!! I am sure there are other rentals just as nice as this, but this particular cabin felt like our home. There is something very special about this cabin. My friend and I kept saying how we'd do our own home like it and dreamt of how we wished it was our vacation home :-) Enjoy it! You will not be disappointed!!!

Owner's Response: Awesome Jessica it was if I was joining you and your friends on your stay we have tried to make our place feel like everyone who stays their feel like they are in their own home and I agree about the area feels so sweet and magical summer comes alive with garden, the badminton set the deck and outdoor dining, grill and fire pit and our new addition of vintage glide swings for the kids so happy you had a great time. When that happens we know we have a done our job right.

We were very impressed with how well the space was used for this home. The house/cabin is not very big but it sure felt like it from inside. All our essential needs were met to make our stay enjoyable! The location was quiet and perfect! We traveled with my parents, my 6 year old nephew and 7 month old son.

Fantastic Holiday Cottage

From the moment we drove down the road leading to the cottage it was magical. When we arrived at the cottage it was beautifully decorated with Christmas lights and little green sparkly lights projected onto trees and allover the garden. We were so thrilled with the beauty of the cottage and I hadn't even gone inside yet! As we entered the cottage we were thrilled at the beautiful warm wood on the floor, the ceilings the walls. It was beautifully decorated. There was even a bottle of wine and 2 glasses in the kitchen under a light so we could see it from the doorway making us feel very welcome indeed. We all jumped with joy. The highlight of the cottage was the heated toilet seat our 12 year old son thought that was fantastic and is still talking about it today! My husband said that a lot of time and care to detail was put into the cottage to make us feel very comfortable and welcome. What a wonderful place to come home to after a day skiing Homeword and squaw Valley ski resort. Tahoe city had some lovely restaurants and only 15 minutes away. We had a fabulous time what a great start to the new year 2014 thank you Patsy's place!

What a wonderful place. Thank you so much for sharing it. What a wonderful remodel, you have made it so cozy and relaxing. We enjoyed the fire pit, the yard is beautiful. We brought our Kayak's and kayaked to Emerald Bay and stopped at the island to explore the Tea House, that was so cool. Enjoyed seeing the snow. Just glad we got 2 days to kayak. Also went on 2 hikes. Tahoe is just so breath taking. We will be back again.

We just returned from a weekend at Patsy's place and couldn't have asked for a better rental. The cabin was beautiful inside and out and fully decorated for the Christmas season. The cabin exceeded expectations and was fully stocked and with all the necessary amenities (and then some). The location is great and included a large yard for the kids to play. Finally, Laura has been great to rent from, she has been informative and accessible, making the process easy. I would definitely recommend this cabin to others and we hope to be back again soon.
