The moment you walk into the Sunset Cottage, you'll feel like you're home with central air and wifi. The open floor plan invites you out to a large outdoor deck where you'll be kicking back, watching the swans, having a lemonade and enjoying real lakefront living. This inviting deck is equipped with a gas barbeque, lounge chairs--everything you need to just chill. Arborvitae and large evergreen trees provide privacy. Bring your boat and dock in front of the Cottage or rent one from a local marina. Swim, go fishing, play bocce ball then enjoy a nightly bonfire.

Cass Lake is the largest inland, all-sports lake, (1280 acres), in Southeastern Michigan. Sunset Cottage is located on the serene northern bay of Cass Lake in Oakland County. Cass Lake is so large it changes cities four times: Orchard Lake, West Bloomfield, Keego Harbor and Waterford Township.

The cottage sleeps 10.

There are three bedrooms with queen size beds and in one of the bedrooms there are twin beds. In addition to these bedrooms, there is also a queen sofa bed, with a thick memory foam mattress, in the living room.

Nice cottage and nice owner

our group including 6 adults and 4 kids really like the Sunset Cottage. The hosts Kip and Ricca were so nice. Kip gave us a tour of the lake on their boat. The lake was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed fishing everyday and seeing the beautiful swans. And also shopping area is so close. Would definitely return.

and also the first to sit in our new "tea booth" under the weeping willow tree! We look forward to seeing you again.

Great cottage for water lovers

This cottage was perfect for my family's stay as we were in town for a wedding and visiting friends since we moved out of state. It's clean, owners are super friendly and helpful throughout our stay and we rented a pontoon boat for 2 days which was perfect for when our friends visited and went boating for the day. Location is near state boat launch and convenient to shops in the area. We will definitely rent this cottage again in the near future.

Sunset Cottage was beautiful and clean. Our hosts Kip and Ricca were wonderful and available for us. They took us out on their boat. The lake was beautiful and we swam daily. Would recommend and hope to return,

Couldn't have asked for a better property, location or hosts. Exactly what we needed--space to entertain family, great swimming for the kids, and close to everything. This area on Cass Lake is incredibly peaceful. Gorgeous! Definitely made great memoriees. Thanks Kip & Rikka!

Amazing Vacation

My wife and I, together with our seven children, had a magnificent time staying at the cottage!!! Ricca was prompt in responding to all of our inquiries and really made this vacation possible by helping us work out the dates with our very limited schedule. The cottage was perfect!!! It was exactly as described in the web-sight! It was clean, inviting, cozy and had a wonderful large room overlooking the lake. Kip went above and beyond and invited our entire family for a sight seeing ride in his speed boat. Cass Lake is an awesome lake. The beautiful houses on its shores are a sight to see and Kip showed them all to us. He even encouraged the kids to go swimming in the shallow sandy area. Thank you Ricca and Kip for allowing us to have an incredible vacation. When we returned home we asked the kids what they would want to do next vacation (4 of them are teenagers!) and their answer was unanimous: Back to the Ricca and Kip's cottage on Cass Lake!
