We were a family of 5, three generations from ages 14 to 81. Entry level bedroom was great for the grandparents and we "youngsters" took to the lower floor. Wonderful to have meals and snacks as we wanted with the full kitchen. We found it well-stocked with all the dishes, utensils, pots and pans we needed. After a full day's wandering in the Yosemite Valley, it was nice to get "home" to Top of the Pines for dinner, story telling about the day, and board games. The night sky is amazing in the true darkness of the national park and we enjoyed looking from the driveway at a sea of stars! Many thanks to our hosts, Al and Carol, for all the information both before and while at the house. The notes regarding phone numbers for activities reservations in the park and how to work various things like heat and water were really helpful, too. I hope to be back and enjoy Top of the Pines in the future!
